There are some new photos from Spider-Man 3 over at Joblo.com including the one above. If you ask me this image settles the question of whether in the movie Venom will be from outer space. That’s Peter Parker’s moped in the foreground (as if you didn’t know).

well he does come from space he is of course a species called the symbiote. at first hes just a piece of gue but goes on spidey as a black suit. i think it would be gay if venom just turned up a least they showed how he landed.
Thanks again. I knew he was from space in the comic book (I have the issue where Spidey finds the suit). But there was a possibility they might have changed the origin of Venom in the movie.

I kinda like this route although I don’t know if your average theatre goer will buy into an alien symbiote (Raimi has tried to keep the films relatively rounded in reality). Still I appreciate Raimi putting in a little camp now and then because it reminds us that these things are supposed to be fun first and foremost.
Personally, I think the Green Goblin’s suit got too much flak. I thought it was fine for a comic book movie. Didn’t think it was perfect, of course, but it ft into the Spiderman world well (was it any goofier than J.J. Jameson’s hair or name?)
Anyway, looking forward to this. Bring on the Iron Man pics, Marvel! ASAP. Wanna see that Stan Winston suit.
isnt harry osbourne supposed to be th hob goblin and get hired by king pin to destroy spiderman (link spidey and daredevil here)
hopefully they show stan lee in this one too… (not in punisher, ghost rider or elektra)
I don’t think they’re going to follow the comic book that closely, and I’m quite sure Stan Lee will be putting in an appearance.
