All-new posters for The LEGO Ninjago Movie put the spotlight on the film's ninja warriors, their elemental powers, and the actors bringing them to life. While September was once a fallow period for big budget films following the end of the summer season, 2017's string of blockbusters isn't quite over. This weekend will bring IT to theaters, with Kingsman: The Golden Circle and The LEGO Ninjago Movie battling it out later this month. For the latest film in the LEGO franchise, Ninjago will attempt to replicate the success of The LEGO Movie and this year's LEGO Batman Movie.

Ninjago will have a bit more of an uphill battle than its predecessors. For one, it will face plenty of competition at the box office. It also doesn't have the ability to pull in as many character cameos as the other films. Still, the LEGO universe setting will allow for some special appearances. Following the increased popularity of the character, Wonder Woman will show up in Ninjago. Along with the action-comedy story and the film's impressive voice cast, it may be enough to help it win at the box office.

Fandango has a new batch of character posters for The LEGO Ninjago Movie as marketing for the film continues. The images highlight each of the characters, from hero to villain, as well as the voice actors who will be bringing them to life. All told, the main cast of the film will include Dave Franco, Jackie Chan, Justin Theroux, Michael Peña, Abbi Jacobson, Fred Armisen, Kumail Nanjiani, Zach Woods, and Olivia Munn. Check out each of their new posters in the gallery below:

The new film will follow Franco's character Lloyd, a Master Builder who's secretly a ninja. With power over nature, he and his friends will control various elements to battle the evil Garmadon (Theroux). Of course, they'll be at a bit of a disadvantage as Garmadon is Lloyd's father. Luckily, Master Wu (Chan) will help train the young warriors.

Likely, LEGO views Ninjago as the start of a new franchise. There are rumors that LEGO Batman will receive a follow-up, and production on The LEGO Movie Sequel will begin next month. If Ninjago does as well as the other LEGO films, it seems designed to be able to spawn plenty of new stories in its corner of the world.

Along with the new images, this summer brought us another batch of posters highlighting the characters and their powers. We also saw a new trailer debut during Comic-Con, showcasing the action and comedy in the film. With The LEGO Ninjago Movie debuting soon, fans won't have to wait much longer to learn if it can live up to its legacy.
