Movie trailers today are so epic that we now need trailers for the trailers (by next year we'll have previews of trailer previews), and if Captain America: The Winter Soldier warrants a trailer for its trailer, then you can be sure that The LEGO Movie needs one too. It does, after all, star Will Arnett as LEGO Batman.

Despite being only thirty seconds long and partly comprised of footage that was already shown in the first trailer for The LEGO Movie, this latest preview does offer a few insights into what we can expect. Namely: a musical number with choreographed dancing; some explosions and helicopters; motivational posters; and more characters cameos than you can shake a stick at. There's also some more lively dance music: a remix of Avicci's "Wake Me Up."

Emmet is voiced by Chris Pratt, who will soon be seen playing Peter Quill/Star-Lord in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy movie, but there are plenty more superheroes already joining the onscreen world of LEGO. In addition to Arnett's Batman, audiences will also get to hear Cobie Smulders (The Avengers) as Wonder Woman, Jonah Hill (This Is the End) as Green Lantern and Channing Tatum (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) as Superman. The main cast also includes Morgan Freeman, who is a superhero in his own right.

Lego is a brand that has a regular relationship with DC whilst also jetting off on weekends to spend time with its secret Marvel family, and right now comic book fans can also spend time with the likes of Spider-Man and the Hulk in the blocky yellow world of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. If The LEGO Movie does well in theaters upon its release, perhaps we might see a movie franchise being built up along similar lines as the Traveller's Tales games.

There's a lot of confidence to be garnered from the fact that The LEGO Movie has 21 Jump Street and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs duo Chris Miller and Phil Lord working on it as both writers and directors. The gags in the trailers so far have been of mixed quality, but enough to score a few laughs, so hopefully the upcoming trailer will contain enough solid material to win over those who haven't been convinced thus far.
