The Lego Movie Character Guide – Even More Extras

Mummy

The Lego Movie Mummy The Lego Movie Complete Character Guide

The Mummy’s favorite thing to do is put ancient mummy curses on people. He just loves it when you wake up with slimy frogs in your bed, or suddenly find your shoelaces tied together, or have your toast always fall on the floor with the butter-side down.

But the Mummy doesn’t really mean any harm, and he’d be surprised if he ever found out that people thought he was being mean to them. As far as he knows, putting curses on people is just what mummies are supposed to do!

Magician

The Lego Movie Magician The Lego Movie Complete Character Guide

Appearing out of nowhere with a flourish of his cape and a twirl of his elegant, curly mustache, the mysterious Magician is the ultimate in stylish showmanship. He loves a good audience to appreciate his incredible and sense-defying magic tricks, but watch out – not only is he an amazing performer, but he’s also a talented prankster as well! He’ll confuse, bewilder and amaze with a mix of sleight-of-hand and impossible feats, and the more surprised his audience is, the better.

-

Artist

The Lego Movie Artist The Lego Movie Complete Character Guide

Everything the Artist sees inspires him to paint. The sunset, the sky, the bugs, passing airplanes…each one gives him the idea for a truly magnificent work of art, and he is consumed with painting them until he is done.

Since he doesn’t carry a canvas with him everywhere he goes, though, this leads to him painting on whatever surface happens to be handy. He paints on walls, rocks, trees and anything else he can find. You’d think it might get him in trouble, but his artistic creations are so spectacular that no one ever seems to mind!

-

Surfer

The Lego Movie Surfer The Lego Movie Complete Character Guide

Wherever the waves are radical and the surf is bodacious, that’s where you’ll find the Surfer. He’s the most relaxed guy around, but as soon as it’s time to hop on his surfboard, nothing can keep him from hanging ten from sunrise until sunset!

The Surfer has traveled all over the world and surfed at every beach he can find. No matter where he goes, he’s always sure to find a fun challenge on the rolling, splashing ocean!

-

Vampire

The Lego Movie Vampire The Lego Movie Complete Character Guide

The Vampire may be a 200-year-old creature of nightmare and legend, but that doesn’t mean that he has to be uncivilized. He likes to read comic books with his pet bat, take long walks by the seaside (after sunset, of course), and throw huge parties in his big stone castle.

-

Lizard Man

The Lego Movie Lizard Man The Lego Movie Complete Character Guide

The Lizard Man lives to trample cities beneath his big green feet. Of course, since he’s really just a minifigure of normal size wearing a lizard suit, that’s not as easy as it sounds…so instead, he spends hours building his own meticulously detailed miniature buildings and then stomping all over them while making roaring noises.

  1. OK. I’ve been pointing out the ads that play sound automatically and gotten good feedback from the site owner. I paid the money to go ad free or whatever on this site. Then I log in today to read some articles, open a few in new tabs and some ad starts blasting my speakers before I even click on the additional tabs.

I understand that ScreenRant doesn’t directly control the ads, but you should be monitoring and putting a stop to it if it is really of concern to you. That isn’t my job. If you are so concerned about revenue from ads and not allowing ad block, you might need to divert some focus to making sure that this site isn’t an annoyance to the people that visit and support it.

I am deleting this site from my bookmarks and will be seeking out another source of entertainment news. Good luck.

    • Just happened to me to. Shouldn’t be happening. We’re on it.

      (Apologies)

    • Sorry to hear that JB. We do our best to keep auto audio ads off the site, but it’s like trying to kill a roach infestation. We keep demanding that audio ads not be displayed on the site, but somehow they keep sneaking through.

  2. This movie will be even better if it had Nolan North as Deadpool in it.

    • YES YES!!! Or if it had marvel legos in them…Still excited tho. I don’t know a single person who hasn’t built a lego set in their life.

  3. So the good guys are basically a few random people… and the justice league.

  4. The funny thing is that the ‘Green Ninja’ isn’t evil at the end of Ninjago. Not sure why they decided to go that direction with him.

  5. I’m really surprised they didn’t include MARVEL lego’s too. It would have been great to see some Marvel vs. DC banter between them and then see them team up.

Would have been a great way to take shots at each universe and its fans (but in a fun way)

IMO that would have added to the nostalgia of growing up collecting lego’s and comics!

    • I once heard the directors say they can make 100 sequels, prequels and spinoffs out of this, so if there’s none of that in this film, maybe in the next.

    • Thing is, it’s a Warner Bros. movie and they own DC. They’d want to avoid promoting the competition.

  6. With a cameo appearence by “Lego My Eggo!”

  7. So they have some DC Lego characters….what if they added some Marvel Lego characters, and they all started a big rumble against each other? Would they likely knock each others’ BLOCKS off?!

  8. WB is obviously, and conveniently, just revving up Justice League popularity to build towards their next movie. This will be the best Justice League will get in a movie…

I bet WB paid to put their characters into the movie.

  9. I think you are all missing a key point:

This movie is made by WB.

No, they did not pay to have their characters in it, if some other studio was making it, they would have to pay WB. You don’t get to use the Batman in your movie without paying for the Batman. Since WB is making it, they can use JL characters, but…

There will be NO Marvel. You think Marvel is gonna let WB use their characters? Not likely.

    • Sometimes the lack of understanding of the business end of movies in these comments amazes me.

“Yeah, they should add Marvel, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Terminator, Matrix, and Indiana Jones too!”

Like the can just do that because it sounds cool.

      • +1

      • You dream-crusher. :( (^-^)

      • But I checked this on the net, and it (loudly) says Warner Bros Interactive made Lego Marvel Superheroes. I mean, are the game rights separate from the movie rights? Or the Lego character from the regular character? And if WB didn’t want to promote Marvel, why would they make a videogame, but not a movie. And not even a movie centered around Marvel, at that!

  10. My Idea for the sequel(if there is) would be Emmet partnering up with the Avengers or justice League to fight a villain named Captain Greed and restore all the treasures he stole from the city museum.

  11. You and your family deserve a living space that is tailored to suit your lifestyle and taste.
Come spend an afternoon getting great ideas and seeing spaces transformed from boring, useless and basic to brillant,
lively and organized. Here are five home improvements –
from budget-friendly to big budget – tht provide noteworthy return on investment (ROI) in terms of
    increased value and improved enjoyment:.

  12. The WB way of building to the Justice League movie along with strategically placing justice league products all through Super Target. Make it known to the little ones and then throw a Justice League movie together. I guess that’s one way to go or do it the Marvel way and do stand alone movies build the characters and then do a Justice League movie. Seems the better route.

  13. Thanks for the character guide, Paul! I used it to look into the female characters in the movie. A 7 year-old girl Charlotte recently wrote to LEGO and asked for more adventurous characters. Girls simply only sit around in the LEGO world, she thought.
Her letter went viral. I wrote about the letter and the female characters in the LEGO movie. Take a look if you want: http://wp.me/p4iqzZ-4G.

  14. Can someone tell me where to get this book? When searching, the closest I find is “The LEGO Movie: The Essential Guide”. Is ths the same book?

  15. Are any of the characters named “Richard” in this movie?

  16. Um…. okay, well.. he was a hidden surprise character. But still, show some love for JOHNNY THUNDER…. an ORIGINAL and classic Lego character.

(P.S. Hopefully Batman and his Stuperfriends are not present in the sequel… bricks, it could just be a whole different cast of characters.)
