Legion, Archer and The Strain are coming to Comic-Con 2017, reveals FX. The network announced its line-up for the massive San Diego Comic-Con, which is just over a month away and will feature the biggest names in TV, movies, comics, and gaming, as always. Networks and studios will be featuring panels for fans' favorite franchises, as well as the traditional sneak peeks at future seasons and films.

Line ups are announced well in advance, along with special events and who can be expected in the two biggest spaces at the convention: Hall H and Ballroom 20. Ballroom 20 is the smaller of the two halls, although still the second-most-prestigious spot at SDCC, while Hall H is the prime venue with lines to get in stretching around the block and often seeing fans camping out overnight. Now, FX has announced that they will be bringing Legion and Archer to the event, as well as The Strain, and that they'll be in Ballroom 20.

As reported by Deadline, all three shows will be appearing, but with some changes to the usual FX schedule. The Strain will be appearing in Ballroom 20 on Thursday, July 20, along with Archer and Legion. The panel line-ups have not yet been confirmed, but it looks like the key cast members, creators, and showrunners should be appearing, including Noah Hawley, Jeph Loeb, and Dan Stevens for Legion and all the voice actors for Archer along with EP Adam Reed, co-EP Casey Willis and EP Matt Thompson.

This will be the final SDCC appearance for The Strain, which is about to start its fourth and final season this July, so fans of the show can expect something special to say goodbye. Meanwhile, Archer has just wrapped its eighth season, and has been renewed for two more -- although it is set to wrap after season 10. Legion is the newest addition to the FX family in the SDCC lineup, having launched this spring to critical acclaim. The trippy, artsy look at mutant David Haller (Dan Stevens) won over audiences and critics alike, and it is likely that attendees will be treated to a sneek peek at both Legion season 2 and Archer season 9 this year.

It is a bit of a surprise that FX has moved from Hall H to Ballroom 20, and is kicking off the weekend with a Thursday spot, rather than making their presentation on the final day. However, this is fantastic news for fans, as Ballroom 20 is significantly easier to get into, which means a better shot at seeing the stars of these shows talking about what's to come in future.

Legion season 2 is expected on FX in 2018, and Archer will return in 2018 with season 9 on FXX. The Strain season 4 premieres Sunday, July 16 on FX.
