For the past three nights, the Arrowverse has been busy with its latest crossover event, this time bringing together the characters from Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. In an adaptation of the Invasion! comic book storyline, the crossover event (which began Monday night with a mostly normal episode of Supergirl) has seen the heroes of the DCTV universe taking on a dangerous alien race known as The Dominators. Seemingly already dangerous enough as it is was, in The Flash, The Dominators then went on to unexpectedly use mind control to pit all of the other heroes against just Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) and Oliver Queen/Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) in a moment that seemed to harken back to the original crossovers when it was just the two of them.

Now, after tonight's episode of Arrow trapped a number of the characters in a deep sleep on The Dominators' ship, the crossover event is set to finally conclude tomorrow night with the latest episode of Legends of Tomorrow. According to the episode's synopsis too, it doesn't sound like fighting The Dominators will be the only crisis some of the Legends have to face.

Immediately following tonight's episode of Arrow as well, the first teaser promo for tomorrow night's finale was released. Though brief, it promises much meatier roles for some of the newer Legends team members than they've gotten so far, and in a surprising turn of fate, an ultimatum that may put Barry Allen's life in an even more dangerous position than his friends and allies. It looks like his "Flashpoint" mistakes may be coming back to haunt him yet again.

Legends of Tomorrow Invasion! Promo

As per usual with Legends of Tomorrow episodes, this looks like possibly the most ambitious, special effects heavy, and colorful installment of the crossover yet, which should hopefully also make it a fitting finale for this storyline. The Legends characters weren't left with much to do in The Flash episode either, other than make occasional quippy jokes and dropping some emotional bombs out of nowhere to Barry about one of his favorite former villains. So, seeing them given more of the spotlight here should make for a refreshing change of pace from the previous three installments.

Interestingly enough, the promo doesn't do much to address Martin Stein's current situation, who after just discovering the existence of a daughter he didn't have originally, is being forced to deal with both a planetary and personal crisis at the same time in the episode. After the tension that's occurred between Barry and his fellow heroes already, however, seeing how the other members of the team (looking at you, Cisco) react to The Dominators' ultimatum about giving him up should give the episode its most interesting and palpable amount of drama to mine from, if done well. But with all of that taken into consideration, in addition to the sheer size of the team-up itself, and it looks like Legends of Tomorrow will be finishing of this year's DCTV crossover with a bang.

The Invasion! crossover will conclude tomorrow night with Legends of Tomorrow on The CW.
