In recent days, we’ve seen a lot of updates for Jon Favreau’s Iron Man 2. From the first images of Scarlett Johansson in costume as Black Widow, to the first pictures of Don Cheadle and Sam Rockwell and the wrap of principal photography… all just in time for San Diego Comic-Con
Building up to the anticipation of Iron Man 2’s presence at Comic Con this week, we’ve got two more new images for the Marvel Studios flick.
Yahoo! posted a brand new image of Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff in the film, but unfortunately, she’s not in her Black Widow outfit in this one:

The red hair works well methinks.
Next up, is an image similar to ones we’ve seen before of Tony Stark in his blue racing attire but this one hints at the mess left behind after Whiplash interrupts the race. I’m guessing this is where Iron Man’s and Whiplash’s destructive relationship begins:

Expect much more on this film very soon with the eagerly anticipated Iron Man 2 panel hitting San Diego Comic-Con this Saturday, featuring the full cast and lots of goodies.
I wonder if we’ll get a look at War Machine or a full-armor suit for Mickey Rourke…

Actually, just saw the full picture on USA today’s website and noticed it’s just a piece of metal lying on the ground that’s on fire… oops, lol. Oh well, still cool anyhow.

That background could easily be the massive green screen setup at the Sepulevda dam.
Which by the way is being taken apart as we speak.
Looking forward to IM2 no matter who they cast. Rourke should really add some intensity to this film!!!!

Hoping Favreau shows off War Machine in the trailer in a similar fashion to the Mark3 armor in the first Iron Man teaser.
Just watched the first Iron Man movie again for the 100th time, it is just that good. When can we finally see a trailer IM2, come on Favs, the fans are getting restless!!
