Indiana Jones In Real Life - Movies In Real Life (Episode 2)

We recreated the famous boulder chase scene from Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark in New York's Central Park. A man dressed as Indiana Jones ran through the park with the golden idol as he was chased by a man in an enormous custom-built boulder costume. The chase started in Central Park's Ramble, a wooded area that resembles the location from the film. The chase continued through more populated parts of the park, surprising tourists and sun-bathing New Yorkers alike. The project ended with Indy attempting to return the idol to the American Museum of Natural History.

Princess Zelda: Hy-Rulerz (LORDE Royals remix)

In this parody mash-up from @bryan_basham (COPS: Skyrim, The Death and Return of Superman), Princess Zelda presents a love letter to her best friend, Link, and his lifestyle of fighting Octorocks, bombing Dodongos and generally kicking Ganon's ass all over the place. The video is filled to the brim with Zelda references that helped define most of our childhoods.

It's a loving über tribute to the entire history of Zelda: starting with it's 8-bit origins and following the series all the way to it's latest next-gen incarnations. Even though the games, monsters, plot lines and graphics may change, one thing stays the same:

Zelda loves Link. And Link loves boomerangs, magic rings and breaking the shit out of some clay pots.

The 404 takes a trip to Hill Valley in 2015 to geek out on Mattel's limited edition, full-scale Hoverboard replica from Back to the Future II. Replete with a scooter handle hole, velcro ankle strap, motion sensors, and "whooshing" sound effects, the only thing missing is the hover conversion -- and no, it doesn't work on water.
