The fact that Stone is not writing this unwanted sequel tells a lot to me, like the Joe Carnahan situation with him directing The A-Team–need the studio money to make their own film.
Agree with most here, what is the point of a movie like this now? Isn’t actual Wall Street in dire straits?
Shia, I really do not have a problem with the guy but he is waaaayyy overexposed. I mean, is there anyother younger actors out there?

Don’t get the appeal in a movie about bankers in this current time. Not unless it will be the Passion meets Wall Street and Gecko gets beaten up for two hours.

Adding LaBeouf does nothing for me.

Do agree on Douglas though. Can’t think of a time I found him unwatchable, even if the movie failed.

Michael Douglas in his Oscar winning performance made the role of Gordon Gecko work once. He can do it again. And Shia LaBeouf could also be impressive opposite Douglas as Charlie Sheen was. Wall Street 2 could be one of the few deserving sequels left in Hollywood. I’m willing to take a chance on it.

yep…….another “ka-CHING” movie for the rich movie-makers. Wall Street needs a sequel just about as much as Gone With the Wind did. Pathetic. What’s the matter? Too poor to actually hire talented WRITERS to come up with decent, fresh movies?

LaBeouf is way overrated and hopefully soon to be overexposed.Let’s face it..they could probably replaced SHia with a mannequin for Transformers 2 and it would still make 300 million dollars..oh wait Transformers 2 already has a mannequin…Megan Fox..
