Po (Jack Black), his allies Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu), Monkey (Jackie Chan), Crane (David Cross), and master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) are back for another action-heavy adventure in Kung Fu Panda 2.

We’ve already seen the teaser and full trailer for Kung Fu Panda 2 but now comes a special Big Game TV spot for what may be the most anticipated animated movie of the year, featuring nothing but musical fun and action with Po up to his usual actics.

In the 3D sequel to the 2008 Dreamworks hit, subtitled The Kaboom of Doom, our lovable panda must team with new Kung Fu masters to take on an old enemy. Watch the “We Will WOK You” TV spot to air during the Super Bowl pre-game show:

Already bolstering one of the biggest voice casts for an animated feature, Kung Fu Panda adds even more talent in Gary OldmanVictor Garber, Michelle Yeoh and Jean-Claude Van Damme. Here’s the official Kung Fu Panda 2 synopsis:

Po is now living his dream as The Dragon Warrior, protecting the Valley of Peace alongside his friends and fellow kung fu masters, The Furious Five—Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey. But Po’s new life of awesomeness is threatened by the emergence of a formidable villain, who plans to use a secret, unstoppable weapon to conquer China and destroy kung fu. It is up to Po and The Furious Five to journey across China to face this threat and vanquish it. But how can Po stop a weapon that can stop kung fu? He must look to his past and uncover the secrets of his mysterious origins; only then will he be able to unlock the strength he needs to succeed.

  2. Sweet, it’s cool to see dream works becoming a real competition to pixar. How to train your dragon and Kung Fu panda were great, shrek… Not so much.

    • Shrek 1 and 2 were great.

      Kung Fu Panda 2 is a must see, I really cant wait for this one!!

  6. Who did see Jack Black’s very funny ‘Lord of the Rings’ parody where he talkes about how ‘the Ring’ ended on his eleventh finger? Jack Black is fun. I hope Kung Fu Panda 2 is full of parody. The Lord knows we need that.
