Knights Templar sounds like a total rip of Dracula vs. King Arthur. Seriously, these guys should be ashamed and I hope the Beraneks get their due on this.

Read Steve Alten’s The Loch, which talks about the Knights Templar, too!

I guess we’ll have to wait and see how ‘Wanted’ turns out before deciding either way. :-)

The Knights Templar are a group of warriors that protected the scrolls that the Bible was founded on.
This might be good in the fact that it gets people into checking out the story of the Knights Templar.
Other than that I’m sure the film will look just like “the ghosts of mars”. Lol ;-)

When I read the first piece of the title “Knights Templar” I was going : “YES”. But than the second bit all ruined it. I very much like history, and although the stories around the Knights Templar are not all certain to be correct, they at least are very fascinating! But come on, vampires?? There could be done something much more serious with those Knights.

Where the heck did the vampires come from? Are they the caliphate’s secret army or something? Or are they aliens?

Either way, Knights Templar vs vampires sounds cheesy.

Sounds interesting either way. Love a vampire flick and this sounds a bit different to most things.

Lets just wait and see.

I hope they have some good explanation for those vampires, especially with some mythological or theological background.

For instance, in Dracula 3000 if I’m not mistaken, the first vampire was Judas.. cursed to be an immortal abomination due to his betrayal of Jesus.

Hopefully this flick has some similar background.. For example, the vampires are jinn-possessed humans from Mecca who were brought to Jerusalem by the Muslim invaders as a “secret weapon”, hidden beneath the Temple Mount to prevent its recapturing..

I’m a history fan and the Knights Templars are very interesting. I would be more exicted if this was likely to have more basis in reality, but as it is it could be cool and fun. We shall see.

Yeah no doubt steven the git, a full on historical film about the Kinghts Templar is long overdue.

Just keep Mel Gibson far far away …..
