[Update: We've added the international trailer for Knight And Day]

A few days before Christmas last year the first trailer premiered for  Knight and Day (previously titled Wichita). The espionage comedy stars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, reunited for the first time since Vanilla Sky. Today we have a brand new trailer for the movie for you to enjoy.

Knight and Day is directed by James Mangold (Walk the Line, 3:10 To Yuma) from a script by Patrick O'Neill (an actor turned writer making his feature writing debut). Along with Cruise and Diaz in the lead roles, the movie co-stars the likes of Maggie Grace, Peter Sarsgaard, Paul Dano, Marc Blucas, Olivier Martinez and Viola Davis. Quite a cast, I hope you'll agree.

In case you're not familiar with Knight and Day, here's a quick rundown of the synopsis:

"Cruise plays a man of mystery who links up with Diaz. They become fugitives, there are betrayals and shifting alliances all around them, and they must figure out whether to be guided by truth or trust."

Now here's the new Knight and Day trailer. Enjoy:

Update: Now check out the international trailer for Knight And Day. It's pretty much the theatrical trailer, with a one or two new moments (i.e., not even worth its own post):

Our good friends over at /Film were the ones to point us in the direction of this latest trailer and I have to say I agree with what Peter Sciretta over there says about it: it carries on the same aspects of the first trailer, with the comedy falling flat (for the most part) but the action looking pretty damn good (if a tad over the top).

Even if I'm not laughing in the theater, at least there will be some interesting and exciting action going on to take my mind off it.

What do you think of the latest Knight and Day trailer?

After having its release date its release date moved up, Knight and Day is now scheduled for a June 25th, 2010 release.
