A brand new stand for Kingsman: The Golden Circle could potentially have some clues as to what the role the returning Colin Firth will play in the upcoming action spy sequel. Last we have seen of the British actor in the film series was in the Kingsman: The Secret Service where he played Harry, also known as, Galahad - a top spy for the underground organization and mentor to Taron Egerton's Eggsy. Towards the end of the movie, the character was shot point blank in the face by Samuel Jackson's main villain, Richmond Valentine, prompting Eggsy and the rest of the secret service to believe that he is dead. But, by the looks of it, director Matthew Vaughn has other things in mind than letting go of Firth after just one film.

The sophomore outing from the franchise is highly anticipated after its predecessor surprised everyone with how well crafted of a project it was. The Golden Circle takes the Kingsman to a trip across the pond as Eggsy, Merlin (Mark Strong), and Roxy (Sophie Cookson) will join forces with their American counterpart - the Statesman. Together, the two organizations will have to work together to bring down villainess Poppy (Julianne Moore), who is associated with a mysterious new world group called The Golden Circle. The premise sounds jam-packed already even without the Firth's supposed return, but the nagging question regarding the mystery of Harry's re-emergence surely adds a dynamic to the overall story of the film.

The stand was set-up in CCIB - Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona during the ongoing CineEurope 2017. It shows the Statesman on the left-hand side of the stand with Tequila (Channing Tatum), Champagne (Jeff Bridges) and Ginger (Halle Berry). Across them are their presumed Kingsman counterparts with Eggsy, Harry and Merlin with a pool table doubling as a weaponry storage in the middle of the two groups. Twitter user nadine posted an image of it, which you can see below:

Arguably one of the main takeaways from the cool stand is Harry's get-up. While he still wears his signature bespoke suit complete with his iconic umbrella, the shearling jacket and cowboy hat give him more of a Southerner vibe than an English gentleman. Firth, however still rocks the eye-patch which appears to be some sort of justification regarding him being shot in the eye.

The first trailer for The Golden Circle had us thinking that Harry is back from the dead with that reveal of him by the end of the teaser. But it does not necessarily confirm the information that Firth is actually just reprising his role. For all we know, there is some plot twist surrounding his return. Various theories are floating around the internet trying to crack the code of Harry's supposed survival. Some of them are outright incredulous with speculations of a clone or even a twin brother, but given how the franchise is trying to be as comic-booky as possible, no theory can be tagged as too far fetched.

One cannot underestimate Vaughn's flare for twists, especially with the Kingsman franchise. He was able to cleverly execute one in the original film with Michael Caine's Chester King apparently a cohort in Valentine's plans. It is possible that one main player from the film is also crossing loyalty lines. Nevertheless, the fact that Vaughn is coming back to do a sequel, which is unprecedented in his years of filmmaking, leads us to believe that we are in for a treat in with Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
