I agree with the post about Cage I think he is a pretty forgettable actor. I do however think he can occasionally be funny and the rest of the cast looks stellar so I’m def pumped for this one. And by the way Cage’s best role was not the rock, it was Lord of War by far.

Rob Keyes & Twisted Burton :

This is Nic Cages best role appart from The Rock. I read the script and not only does he have a lot of funny scenes, but two very emotional ones…. and at the very very end, hes involved in a very powerful scene.

When you watch it, youll end up really caring about these characters.

Interestingly enough, when AICN watched a screening of this movie they thought the very same.

“Now honey, a bullet travels at 700 MPH, it wont hurt more then a punch in the chest”

I understand your trepidation about Cage but he has some incredibly funny scenes in this, especially the scene shown at Comic-Con.

Give it a chance, I think you may find that he’s right for his role in this. But, we’ll wait until we see more

I know I tend to be the voice of doom and gloom around here, but that looks like fun! Very impressive. More movies should be made this way, let directors and writers have the control, then let studios fight over the finished product. That approach has worked well here.

Looks like it follows the comic closely, the first scene in a trailer with the Bird Guy is the first few pages in the first issue of Kick-Ass! I like!
