One of our most anticipated films of 2010 and a movie that’s received nothing but overwhelmingly positive reviews from those lucky enough to screen the full version, is Matthew Vaughn’s true-to-the-source adaptation of Kick-Ass, the awesome comic series by Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr.
I made an effort to catch up and read the series earlier this week and once I started reading, I couldn’t stop till I was done. I felt I could connect and relate to it more than any other book, but most of all, it was a kick-ass read.
Earlier this week we got our first poster for the character of Big Daddy (as well as a new clip for the film) and today the poster for his daughter, Hit-Girl was released and you can check it out below.
Hit-Girl is played by young actress Chloe Moretz who, by all accounts, gives a standout performance in the film and will easily be a fan favorite. If you want to see why, check out the book!

As I find myself saying a lot these days, It’s an exciting time for comic book fans and moviegoers alike. If you missed it, be sure to check out the Kick-Ass trailer that debuted several weeks ago.
What do you think of Hit-Girl’s live-action look?
Kick-Ass opens in theaters on April 16, 2010 and we’ll be there.

Hey I think they finally found Bulma… LOL
As much as I want to see this….The inept and WOAT “actor” that is Cage will keep me away from this. So very sad.
@Tim
Did you see the clip we put up on the site recently that had Cage in it? I thought he was great in it – his over the top style fit perfectly.
