  1. 1 immortal ins
    2 your next
    3 the butler
    4 were the millers
    5 the worlds end
    10 2 guns

  2. Love that picture of Hit Girl. Chloe Grace Moretz is amazing.

    • I know hit girl is the bomb they should make a part 3

    • shes hot

  3. Joseph Kosinski visuals are awesome story was lacking in Tron: Legacy but Oblivion(Which is in my Top 5 this yea) had an interesting character arc but both had great visuals & soundtrack. I think if they did an intricate plot with interconnected story with great visuals like it would make for an Oblivion-esque type movie and that could make for a great jumping point.

Sliders + Doctor Who + Sunshine = Interstellar

    • More Sunshine, a bit of Sliders, no Doctor Who = the best formula from those ingredients if that’s the case ;)

      • What about Stargate?

        • What about Quantum Leap?

  4. I think you guys were overanalytical with this movie. While is wasn’t as enjoyable as the first, it wasn’t as bad as how you guys discussed.

  5. You guys were WAAAAAY to negative about this movie. I absolutely loved the first Kick-Ass. Its one of my favorite comic book films of all time. Kick-Ass 2 is hands down, the best comic book movie of the summer and maybe even movie of the year for me so far. Maybe its because I’m a young geeky guy and I can relate to Kick-Ass alot but this movie was fantastic. I agree, its not as smart and satirical as the first but I found it more entertaining. I thought the action was good and the cast was amazing. Some characters were underused but Chris Plasse as the Mother F_cker was awesome and one of my favorite performances of the year. I hope a Kick-Ass 3 happens, if Mark Millar leaves this for the crappy X-Men/FF crossover I will lose my mind. I know I’m in a major minority here but I love this movie and a third has to happen. Best movie trilogy ever.

  6. Interstellar’s plot: They pass through the wormhole and end up in a parallel Earth’s Cretaceous period.

  7. Whod win in a fight, mother russia or bane?

Also, what do you think of Morris Chestnut as John Stewart Green Lantern?

    +
You guys probably dont want it, but Id like a kickass 3.

    • If its comic Bane, Bane. If its DKR Bane, that’d be a good fight.
I’d rather see Chestnut take on Black Panther.
      Kick-Ass 3 HAS TO HAPPEN!!!

    • Haha… What’s up with your name? I knew a couple robots called that.

  8. very good!!

  9. 1) Butler
    2) You’re Next
    3) Millers
    4) Worlds End
    5) Mortal Instruments
    10) Percy Jackson

  10. #1 The Mortal Instruments
    #2 The Butler
    #3 You’re Next
    #4 We’re the Millers
    #5 Planes
#10 Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters

  11. “Hey Rhodey, what are you some Iron Patriot? What’s that about? We should fight the Mandarin together. Think about it. Say hi to your mother for me.”

  12. 1 – The Butler
    2 – We’re The Millers
    3 – The Mortal Instruments
    4 – You’re Next
    5 – Planes
    10 – Percy Jackson

  13. This podcast was all over the map and very long too. I loved it!

    Box office:
    1. The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones
    2. Lee Daniels’ The Butler
    3. You’re Next
    4. Elysium
    5. We’re the Millers
    [...]
    10. 2 Guns

  14. Battleship = Awesome! Sorry Rob. ;)

I noticed the same thing about Joseph Kosinski’s directorial work. The attention to detail really helps selling a lot of scenes. For example the fact that parts of the seatbelts and Julias hair fly around when Jack maneuvers his aircraft, and that they actually tilt their heads to keep level with the horizon, really sells the illusion of them flying with that thing. Stuff like that makes all the difference compared to other movies that never seem to convey any sense of excitement in CGI action scenes, because they forget about any physical interaction with the environment that would make it believable. Things like that don’t seem to matter much, as Anthony claims, but we do pick up on them at least subconsciously. I most definitely do. I take the drone hunt in Obilivion over that ridiculous speeder chase on Episode II any day.

Loved Kofi’s Marky Mark impression again. :D

  15. Is there anyway y can add .5 for your polls? I gave KA2 a 3,but it felt like 3.5 IMHO

  16. I just spit up my soda listening to “Spoiler Alert! KAAHHHHHHH!!!!!”
