Fans are currently criticizing the famous family for wasting food during a food fight thrown on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which raised concern over whether or not they are being wasteful with the items from each of their extravagant parties. Khloé Kardashian spoke out in an attempt to set the record straight, revealing that the extra food from their lavish events are donated to food banks and churches.

Another day, another Kardashian scandal. This time, however, it's not a quickie divorce, a secret pregnancy or yet another cheating scandal. After an episode of E!'s hit show aired last month, which showed the family engaging in a wild food fight, fans were quick to slam the family for being careless in a world where many people go hungry. Numerous watchers were eager to point out the fact that the array of pasta, salad, and whatever else they threw around could have easily fed the homeless or others in need. Fans also recently raised the question: what exactly do the Kardashians do with all of the leftover party favors after each lavish bash?

Most recently, Kim Kardashian West threw a Jurassic Park themed birthday party for her 4-year-old son Saint while Kylie Jenner has let followers know that she's already begun planning daughter Stormi's second birthday party for this coming February. People reports that after a fan tweeted asked the family, "Serious question... what do y’all do with all the props, decor, and leftover food after birthday parties!!? I just watched Khloé’s from last weekend, North/P’s the week before and Saint’s last night. It’s SO MUCH, I’m so curious!" Khloé jumped in to explain that the decor is usually rented and the more personal decor is saved for another party. She wrote, "The food left overs always get donated to a food bank or church. Sometimes the food may go elsewhere Depending on the situation." See the full Twitter conversation below:

During last months' food fight, Khloé was the only one in the scene who appeared to be bothered by it. She told the cameras, "Am I bothered by this food fight right now? Who the f*ck wouldn’t be bothered by this? This is, in any normal person’s world, bizarre, disturbing, and unacceptable." It seems that this subject was close to Khloé's heart and she felt like she needed to answer the fan's legitamate concerns even though the tweet was aimed at the three sisters who were involved in the food fight.

While it's appeasing to know that the Kardashians/Jenners do their best to donate or save anything leftover, it's seems that people will still continue to find issue with the fact that the food fight was flat out wasteful. The silver lining being that this incident is  probably one of the lesser of the many varieties of mass criticism the family has faced since being in the public eye.
