Oh, and in case it’s really really hard to figure out, my comment about the teaser was a response to Rob saying: “What I really want though, is to see a frigging trailer.”

I’m agreeing, that we need to see a trailer since the teaser shows absolutely nothing about the actual movie, since the whole building the ship thing was obviously invented just for the teaser and is not an actual representation of anything in the actual movie…

There, I’ll spell it out so there’s no confusion.

Yah, that teaser is pretty useless. It doesn’t even show the real way the ship would be built. They only did that so you won’t know what it is until they show a wide shot. No way they will let a ship going out into the vacuum of space be hand welded…

ya! Star Trek! I can’t wait.

I actually love hearing Smith say good things about it and I trust his opinion.

What I really want though, is to see a frigging trailer. That being said, I 100% JJ abram’s marketing ability and how he is taking things slow.

I like Smith too, but I feel he’s a little biased.
I mean come on he’s not gonna dis the film.
Of course I’m going to see this, but the chances of it breaking Iron Man numbers will be a challenge. (IMO)
Kevin’s review is a viral marketing tactic, most of the “new audience” that JJ wants to bring in dosnt surf the blog,a,sphere,,,
Its gonna really be interesting to see how Star Trek and T4 do next year.
There both basically reboots.
