I’d keep it posted till November 1st,Vic.:-)

Jim Carey says:

Slow news day, eh?

Hmm, let’s see if it’s a Christian pumpkin.

“A bruised reed He will not break. A dimly burning wick He will not snuff out.”

Endri says:

It seems that the candlle is burning up realy fast.

Tom says:

I dont think that candle going to last til Halloween. Maybe,Friday?

heath says:

It’s rotting on the left side. Hmmm….

Screen Rant says:

Yeah, it certainly doesn’t seem like it’s going to make it all the way to Halloween.

Vic

heath says:

I read somewhere that maybe we’ll be getting a Two Face reveal (hence the rot on the left side).

heath says:

Anyone notice they threw the Heath Ledger Joker in South Park last night?

heath

Vic says:

I’ve only ever seen like two episodes of South Park, so no…

Vic

Tom says:

We would all feel very stupid right now if all we got from this is a crummy ad like,”Be sure to drink your Ovaltine,” or something like that.

Vic says:

Well I might get a good laugh out of it but I don’t think I’d feel stupid. The villain is called “The Joker” after all, LOL. :-)

Vic

heath says:

I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be a Two Face reveal; the left side (our right) is rotting, while the right side (our left) isn’t.

SHH! shows a comparison between this image and a cover from Batman: The Long Halloween (excellent comic mini-series/graphic novel):

heath

Vic says:

Yeah, I saw that. Looks like it’s going to make it until Halloween after all. :-)

Vic

heath says:

Nice pumpkin!

Waited til midnight and hit refresh…got that puzzle/riddle and wondered what the hell!

Looks like people, by city, have to go to certain places and follow directions; once there, they will see something and take a pic, and I guess upload it to the site.

Bad ass! At least they didn’t let us down with a lame pic or something!

Craig says:

I wonder/bet if this will be one of those things that has a lot of tiny little pictures that when put togethor make an image of something else.

Vic says:

I don’t know what the end result will be but it’s going to be a hell of a treasure hunt!

Vic

Adrian says:

Nice Pumpkin, Vic!

Vic says:

Heath, Adrian, thanks!

Vic

Tom says:

It looks like theirs a photograph hidden under the message,so maybe we will still get a glimse of Harvey yet.

Vic says:

Yeah, you’re right… I hadn’t noticed that. I think it would be a really bad idea to show Dent as Two-Face though. There really are some things that ought to be saved for the movie. :-)

Vic

Vic says:

Wow! Way to keep people glued to their computers on Halloween, eh? LOL :-)

Vic

heath says:

Well, Rory’s First Kiss was the code name for the film, to keep people from snooping. (Blue Harvest was Jedi’s code name). Funny that they’re using the name for the marketing.

heath

heath says:

I read a comment, probably on AICN, that echoes how I feel: kinda let down that we waited weeks, thinking it’d be a Two-Face reveal, only to have another pic of the Joker (cool, though). And another game, though that, too, is cool.

Thoughts?

heath

Vic says:

Well we are still months away from the release of the film. I think they’re doing a great job of keeping people interested with new tidbits and the Joker is one of the big mysteries of the film.

However I think it was maybe a misstep to follow up a long tease with yet ANOTHER game.

Vic

heath says:

But to tease Two-Face with a half-rotted Jack-O-Lantern and not delivering? Ugh.

heath

Vic says:

Hey Heath, in the comic book that used the image of a half-rotting pumpkin on the cover… was that a Two-Face story?

Vic

heath says:

Yes. It’s the cover to issue 13 of the Long Halloween, the final story.

heath

Jim Carey says:

Am I missing something or is everyone else? It seems they were calling for a publicity stunt to get the fan base involved in promotion of the movie. They wanted pics of people dressed as the Joker in various locations, poses, and quantities. This is like the world’s cheapest promo ad, creating curiosity among people and ownership among the fanbase. Also, once they publish these pictures, a feeling that “the Joker is everywhere.” Or “Where is he going to turn up next?”

I imagine that the best pics will earn people a t-shirt or screen saver or a chance to visit the set.
