Not only is there one but I have watched it and it has returning characters from the 3rd one. I love sci-fi B type films. I even have a copy of The Swarm and The Hive.

On the bright side, it sounds less like a remake, and more like a spinoff. Which, I think will be better. It may be a cheap knockoff, but at least they wont ruin the original this way.

I’m watching Anaconda 4: Trail of Blood right now and I’m pretty sure it is better than the Kung Fu Kid will ever be.

Jayden SMith is terribly miscast as the lead. He is too young, and when you go preteen that is all you will get to watch the film. Young kids and preteens in action lead roles serve no purpose to me other than Disney films.

I’m willing to bet that this movie’s tone will not be anything like the original.With Jackie Chan,it will probably be somewhat corny,like most of his American movies.Also,I wouldn’t be at all surprised if there is a bit of wire work in it.

If my predictions are true,this movie will be an abomination!

Wow, I really don’t have words to describe my reaction except WTF!!!! I could see it possibly working if it were Hong Kong, but Mainland China???? Have some friends in China, and from what I understand this scenario would not be received well by most people. Not speaking for all of China just from what I’ve been told from speaking with friends so stow it.

Name change or not it’s the SAME MOVIE.. from what i read above they are keeping much of the old story line.

WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY…. what happened to creativity? what happened to I don’t know.. ORIGINALITY??

ughghgh ~ SO Frustrated by the recent unexplainable “need” to Re-make EVERYTHING.. I promise you this at $10.00 a ticket I would much rather see the original for a $3.95 rental fee. This goes for ALL remakes! I’m on strike!

Because of course, when you’re poor, single, and down on your luck, the first thing you do is move to a foreign country where you can’t speak the language, no nobody, and spent thousands getting there.
