Kanye West told his fans he will no longer discuss the details of his split with former Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian. The pair were married for nearly seven years before separating and eventually filing for divorce. Fans got to see their entire relationship play out in front of the cameras, from Kanye's elaborate proposal and the birth of their four children to their beautiful wedding in Italy. During their time together, fans witnessed a fashion transformation in Kim, having become Kanye's new muse. Unfortunately, their relationship didn't work out in the end for a number of reasons. Fans can only speculate that Kanye's outbursts towards her family and his desire to live in Wyoming, among other things, led to Kim's decision to end their marriage.
Over the course of their relationship, Kim and Kanye had four children together. Their first two children were conceived naturally. However, Kim chose surrogacy as the way to welcome her two youngest children into her family. Kim was very open about what led to her decision to choose surrogacy, showing her thought process on the show. She revealed that she suffered serious medical issues during her pregnancies with her first two children and that her doctors advised her not to get pregnant again. She said she was concerned if she would have the same bond with a child born via surrogate, since she didn't carry the child, but those fears went away as soon as her baby was born.
After speaking publicly about their split a few times, Kanye promised to keep his mouth shut from now on when it comes to Kim. As Page Six reported, Kanye doesn't want to be open with his feelings about separating from Kim anymore. Kanye said he doesn't want to be as open as certain other celebrity couples, specifically Will and Jada Smith, because he feels both him and Kim have stuff they need to work on. Directly after saying he doesn't want to talk about it, he detailed some of the issues he has with Kim and her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson. He didn't appreciate Kim inviting him to the taping of Saturday Night Live so that he could watch her make out with her new boyfriend. Pete and Kim weren't publicly a couple at the time, but they did share a kiss together during one of the sketches.
Aside from having issues with her relationship, Kanye had an issue with Kim's team reportedly spreading lies about him in the media. He accused Kim's team of putting stories out about the women he's dating and also trying to block him from getting certain deals, though he didn't specify what deals in particular. His biggest issue when it comes to the separation is his relationship with his kids. He claimed members of the family, and those on Kim's team, advised her to keep his children away from him. He went on to warn whoever is doing that to stop because he doesn't joke when it comes to them. Sources close to Kim claimed that no matter what Kanye thinks, Kim has never tried to get in the way of Kanye seeing his kids and has always had an open-door policy.
Kanye has never been one to bite his tongue when it comes to what he is feeling. So it will be interesting to see if he can actually stop himself from discussing what's going on with Kim. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has stayed silent. So maybe Kanye is taking a page from her book.
