Following the release of a brand new trailerJustice League has received another new trailer with some new footage. The hype train for Warner Bros. latest dive into the DC universe is just beginning as fans now sit just over a month away from seeing the film. It has been a long time coming and the road has not gone as they had anticipated, with Joss Whedon now serving as the film's second director.

Ever since he took over for Zack Snyder, fans have been wondering just what, if anything, he would be changing over the course of reshoots, but it was never made clear thanks to so many different reports. But, the incoming wave of marketing should be a good way to see any differences with what has come before. Warner Bros. already delivered on that with a new trailer this morning, but one new trailer was not enough.

Justice League's official Instagram account shared an alternative cut of the trailer that features plenty of new footage. It is shorter in length and has less of a focus on Superman's absence, but does include new shots of several members of the League.

The new trailer strikes a different tone than the other brand new one; it's strictly focused on the formation of the Justice League and teases their first battle together. One of the new scenes included shows Alfred (Jeremy Irons) questioning the strength the team has, as if they will not be strong enough together to defeat Steppenwolf. There is also an extended look at Aquaman's confrontation with Steppenwolf in Atlantis, and some new snippets from the initial battle the Amazons, Atlanteans, and humans had against him.

With both of the trailers that have been released today, fans will have plenty of new footage to comb through and pick apart. Since this one is relatively straightforward and doesn't appear to be hiding any secrets, most of the attention may go the official trailer. But, with a flurry of TV spots set to arrive in the coming weeks, this will hardly be the last new footage we see from Justice League. As they are still doing a great job at hiding the specific beats of the plot, that will hopefully remain true as more footage arrives. If it does, then Justice League may be able to pull off several surprises outside of just how and when Superman returns.
