For the second consecutive year, Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Justice League following its debut at San Diego Comic-Con. Early on in the production of Justice League, the studio made a point to feature their upcoming team up heavily after a divisive reception for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This year, the outlook on the DC Extended Universe has shifted dramatically thanks to how well Wonder Woman has been received. With audiences enthralled with her story and her next appearance being just a few months away, WB didn't hold back on promoting Justice League at SDCC 2017.

Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) and her fellow members of the Justice League - Ben Affleck (Batman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ezra Miller (Flash), and Ray Fisher (Cyborg) - all on hand to hype these heroes coming together for the first time on the big screen. And they did not come to SDCC 2017 empty-handed, either.

Warner Bros. has officially released the second full-length theatrical trailer for Justice League online, moments after it debuted for those in Hall H at SDCC 2017. Check it out, above!

Whereas previous trailers were used to introduce audiences to the Justice League, this new trailer does a great job of establishing what the film will be - while also teasing much more. Gadot is very much at or near the front of the trailer, right alongside Affleck. However, outside of showing more of the heroes, it also introduces Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds). He is shown arriving in Themyscira and stealing the Amazon's Mother Box, in addition to being glimpsed in a number of fight scenes. He is also the one narrating portions of the trailer, teasing DC fans with "the lack of Lanterns" that Earth has.

This is also the first piece of marketing to come out since Joss Whedon stepped up to oversee Justice League's pickup shoots, after Zack Snyder left due to a family tragedy. The overall tone of this trailer is different than the "fun" feeling of the previous one, but that may simply be attributed to the inclusion of Steppenwolf and the laying of groundwork for the film's plot. Still, it has plenty of action and stand out scenes for all the members of the Justice League.

Outside of the Steppenwolf's brief mention of Earth having no Lanterns, other references from the trailer include a nod to Batman's days fighting Penguin. The trailer also manages to reference Superman (and his death in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) regularly, but the ending of the footage could be a tease of his arrival.
