Justice League fan art gives Superman (Henry Cavill) a poster in the style of the colorful character prints that were recently unveiled. Warner Bros. initially kicked off their DC Extended Universe - though that's not its official name - with Zack Snyder's Man of Steel in 2013. Cavill returned as the Last Son of Krypton in the true universe launchpad, Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, which additionally introduced Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), as well as Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher). The five heroes of the DCEU are set to team up in this fall's Justice League.

As for Superman, he was killed at the end of Batman V Superman by Doomsday, which is part of the reason Bruce Wayne works with Diana Prince to unite the other heroes against Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons. However, Superman's return in Justice League has been teased since the final scene of Batman V Superman, and we know Cavill will appear in the upcoming team-up. Still, Warner Bros. has kept Superman's resurrection under wraps in terms of the marketing for the film, so the Man of Steel wasn't included in a recent batch of colorful Justice League character posters. But one fan took it upon themselves to make a Superman poster.

Digital artist and DC fan Bryan Fiallos created a Superman character poster in the style of the Justice League prints that were unveiled by Warner Bros. this week. In Fiallos' rendition of the Superman poster, Clark Kent takes on the superhero's iconic blue color. Of course, in Warner Bros' set of posters each member of the Justice League has a signature color, and Batman is represented by blue. To make up for Superman's blue poster, Fiallos also created a gray-toned one-sheet for the Dark Knight, which gives Affleck's Batman a little bit of blood around the mouth. Take a look at both posters below:

Of course, while Superman hasn't been featured in any of the Justice League trailers, he was included in the first official image for Justice League that was unveiled by Warner Bros. at Comic-Con International in San Diego in 2016. So, Superman's return isn't exactly a secret, but the manner in which the Man of Steel makes his reappearance is still unknown. Fans have long speculated that Cavill will don Superman's black suit from the comics, with Justice League merchandise even teasing the black costume. Fans have imagined what Cavill's Superman will look like in the black suit, but it has yet to be confirmed if the comic-accurate costume will actually appear in Justice League.

That being said, we do know Superman will appear and make his return to the DCEU in Justice League - it's just a matter of when Warner Bros. chooses to make it official by including the Man of Steel in the film's marketing push. The studio may choose not to feature Superman at all prior to the premiere of the movie, or they could tease the superhero in the final Justice League trailer that's due to arrive next month. With the film set to hit theaters in mid-November, fans don't have much longer to wait until they can see Justice League for themselves. But for those who wanted to see a Superman version of the movie's recent batch of character posters, Fiallos' art certainly fits fantastically with the series of official Justice League prints.
