DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. are giving fans a chance to win a trip to the Justice League Premiere while channeling their inner superheroes. Following the events in Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, DC will continue building its extended universe with Justice League. The film will bring together Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Flash (Ezra Miller), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and Superman (Henry Cavill).

Wonder Woman and Batman are joining forces to bring together a team of meta-humans in order to face Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons. The anticipation is high as we head into SDCC 2017, and ahead of the official panel Warners have announced a very cool contest.

Titled “League Up”, the contest is divided into three rounds: in the first round, contestants will have to form a team of five people in which each member embodies the qualities of a different Justice League hero. To make things clearer and the contest a bit easier, these are the qualities they are looking for in each character: for Wonder Woman, it has to be someone who stands up for justice, peace, and equality; Cyborg is about communication and tech innovation; for Batman, determination and intelligence are key; Aquaman is all about responsibility and environmental commitment; and for Flash, someone who is known for its courage and drive.

Creativity is cited as a key element, with entrants expected to show off their passion in some tangible way – once the team is ready to go, you will have to come up with a plan to celebrate the Justice League movie: the suggested ideas are a party, community benefit, and mini convention. DC will then choose four League finalists to move on to round 2, which involves submitting a video showing that celebration becoming a reality. For the final round, fans will have the chance to view and vote.

Those interested in participating have until August 18th to form their teams and come up with the most creative plan. Full terms and instructions can be found at DC Comics official website.

With superheroes dominating the media with no signs of slowing down, it’s always fun when the big studios stop and connect with their fans through these activities. The “League Up” contest is particularly interesting as it’s encouraging fans to bring out their inner superhero while finding a connection with the character in the film.
