Justice League Live-Action TV Series?

martian manhunter Justice League Live Action TV Series?Over at Comics Continuum there’s a story describing an upcoming episode of Smallville that will have every future superhero that’s appeared on the show so far.

In ONE episode.

Together.

Right now there is a HUGE grin on my face. icon smile Justice League Live Action TV Series?

For those of you who aren’t keeping track, that includes the following future Justice Leaguers:

Superman (duh)
Green Arrow
Flash
Martian Manhunter
Aquaman
Cyborg (Ok, technically he’s not in the Justice League, but still…)

The rumour mill is spinning that there may be a Justice League spinoff. At this point, it’s probably just that: rumour. But still… they DID produce an Aquaman TV pilot and Smallville has been extremely successful ratings-wise.

Personally, I just can’t imagine that Tom Welling will want to continue in the role after seven years, especially if he’s got to wear tights. Also, it would be a very expensive show to produce on a weekly basis. And of course they would have to find a way to bring Batman into the mix, and the producers of Smallville have stated quite clearly that the (young) Dark Knight will NOT be appearing on the show.

It could be pretty cool though…

  1. Hell yeah!! But there has to be lesss polt and more action. Smallville is cool but the action at the end always weak as hell.

  2. i am a fan of justice league and i was just wondering if anyone could answer my one question
“in the future version of the justice league the only original members that are alive are batman and superman so does that mean the other five like hawkgirl, green lantern,j’onn(martian),wonderwoman, and flash are dead” and what becomes of super girl since she decided to stay in the 31st century because it was said to be her destiny. does anyone answer that question because if so i want to know the answer

  3. Sorry, don’t know the answer to that one.

    Vic

  4. To answer your question, the other 5 weren’t “original” but were brought in (according to the animated series) There have been multiple Flashs and Green Lantern, so their counterparts could have been original members, but Wally and Jon Stewart were new. i don’t know how they get around wonderwoman, though, cuz she was definately an original in comics, shows, etc… Even though they were calling her Princess Diana or The Amazonian since she hadn’t donned the name Wonder Woman, yet.

  5. smallvile spin off JLA
