IESB reports that Warner Bros. has managed to cast ALL the lead roles in the Justice League movie without alerting the blogosphere. Neat trick, that.
Now the question remains: Who have they cast?
At this point no one outside the studio knows, but apparently all will be revealed by this weekend.
I just can’t seem to get fired up about this movie. I don’t know if it’s the choice of director, the “Teen Titans” casting rumors, the fact that it feels like WB is just trying to push this out to cash in on superhero movies before the genre goes out of vogue or what.

Okay…I’m waiting for an official press release from WB announcing the cast until I actually believe this story.
As much as I like Robert and the IESB staff (i.e. they’re nice folks who talk back to us readers respectfully), there’s still a chance this could be total bullshit that gets viewed as truthful (i.e. their report that Tom Welling was Supes in JLA!)

Yeah, that Welling/JL thing was pretty bad. I commented on that in a Star Trek post I made today alluding to the “grain of salt” issue.

Awesome!! FINALLY!! I’m hoping for the best with this,trying to be more optimistic and so on,so forgive my enthusiasm. Yeah,they’re using John Stewart as GL,which I’m still a little sad about,but at least we get Hal in his own GL movie and that’s made me MUCH more comfortable with the idea of John as GL in this film,but still,this weekend I get to find out who plays my favorite Flash and who plays Kid Flash,the Martian Manhunter,Aquaman,Wonder Woman,and of course,my first and second favorite superheroes,Batman AND Superman!! Tell me that doesn’t crack a big ass smile across your face!! Dude,it’s the JLA,ON FILM!! AWESOME!!! I’ve waited my whole life for this!! I just hope the cast is worthy of the characters they’ll play,and that the movie won’t go to the crapper!!
Oh,BTW,since John Stewart gets to be GL,I want him to say “light ‘em up!” and “come and get some!!” in the movie,like he says in the cartoons and comix. SWEET!!
i will believe when i see it officially announced.
To me it doesn’t meter for the cast as long as they could act good. Take TM in spiderman a lot of people thought he wasn’t good enough then he suprised everyone.
If you ask me WB is being stupid. Why would you want to rush quite possibly THE MOST EPIC SUPERHERO MOVIE TO DATE!!!! If they mess this up I think they will single handedly destroy the possible movie franchise of every superhero included in the movie as well as cripple the entire box office superhero genre as a whole. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO RUSH THIS PROJECT AT ALL. When you do that, you set yourself up for failure, whether the superhero genre will die out or not. This is the big movie that people WILL PAY TO GO SEE REGARDLESS.
