I've watched it and I've gotta say that you'll be missing out, it was awesome. I also love both Tim Daly and Kevin Conroy, and I think they would've been superior choices, but it was still an enjoyable watch. If you don't buy it at least rent it or get it off netflix or whatever, it's worth a watch.

Everyone knows that the dark knight was a much better film than Iron Man. That includes both “true comic fans” and fans of good cinema alike. Iron man was a very fun pop corn flick. There really wasn't a whole lot of layers to it. The dark knight had a much more interesting and emotional plotline. Iron man was good, but everyone forgot about it once the Dark Knight came to theaters.

I think the reason that public enemies was amazing is because it literally was perfect for the fans. The writing was amazing, it focused mainly on batman/superman, the fight scenes showed those two going all out to stay alive, and above all they used tim daly and kevin conroy to portay superman and batman. I am one of those fans that thinks that Conroy should always voice batman and Daly should always voice superman.

@SIN187UM – Planet Hulk looks okay, but it in no way looks as good as any of the DC animations to date.

@sambeckett – I’m glad Conroy isn’t doing the voice, that’s not to say I don’t love when he voices Batman I just would like to get another actor’s take on him.

To be honest I think that DC is destroying Marvel creatively in every aspect except film (at least not yet). Marvel is doing a bang up job with their movies and DC has a long way to go. You can cry Dark Knight all you want, but true comic fans know that movie was good, but not nearly as good as it was made out to be…Iron Man is the best Super Hero comic movie to date.

While Marvel has the theatrical releases locked down, I have to say that DC’s approach is fantastic. Releasing one after another, probably pretty inexpensive to produce. I really wish they would get the voice-actors from the series though

Maybe they could have Kevin Conroy dub dialogue for the next guy to play Batman cause i doubt they’d start that now when Bale already made two films and more left by contract. Not sure other fans would like the idea.

With JL/JLU animated series over. I always thought it would be great to take the best comics and have them excist in the same universe. They could of covered Death and Return of Superman more in the right way or of-course the idea of using the Crime Syndicates. They shouldnt worry about blood being seen cause i remember both Superman & Batman Bleeding at one point in their animated series. Even GL told one of the hawkmen to kiss his ass on JL: star-crossed 3 part episode. Bruce Timm has talked about it before and i still hope he has thought about goin back to the Superman: TAS and make one or two more season that continue from ( Legacy 1&2)
that sees Superman gaining back the trust of the people. And have Tim Daly or even George Newborn voice Superman. I thought George Newborn was just as good as Tim Daly, it was the way in which he talked as Superman and Andrea Romano thought the sameway. The only thing between the two was when Superman got angry, Tim Daly’s voice was better when Superman got ticked off.

Ya I saw this trailer available when it was leaked a couple months back. I refused to watch it because I didn’t want to see how awesome it is. I never see the trailers for any of these DC AU movies. I just know they’re going to be good so I don’t spoil myself.

I still haven’t watched all of Justice League or Justice League unlimited. I’d like to see those before this. I don’t want to buy them on DVD and with the recent blu ray release of JL season 1 I figured they would be releasing more by now but I guess not.

I wish more than anything, that we could get Conroy to dub over all of Christian Bales dialogue from Dark Knight!

Its why Arkham Asylum is one of my favourite games ever, we all have a certain Batman and Joker, for me it is Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill. The animated series is the ultimate Batman, balancing the light and dark perfectly, better than any of the films have.
