The cast of Justice League celebrates Mexican Independence Day. Warner Bros' next upcoming DC Extended Universe movie will unite all the major superheroes, including Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher). Together, they'll fight against Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds) and his army of Parademons in order to save the world. Superman (Henry Cavill) is also expected to make his return after being killed by Doomsday in the climactic fight of DCEU launchpad Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Though movie fans have seen some of the DCEU heroes in Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman, Justice League will mark the characters' first team-up - and the first live-action adaptation of DC Comics' most famous superhero team. As such, buzz for the movie has been building for over a year, especially since Warner Bros. debut first look footage of Justice League at Comic-Con International in San Diego last summer. The cast attended SDCC this year, unveiling a new trailer for Justice League, and began what's sure to be a long promotional tour for the next DCEU installment.

As part of this promotional lead-up, the Justice League cast recorded a message celebrating Mexican Independence Day, which was posted the Warner Bros. Cine Instagram. Take a look at the video message featuring Momoa, Miller, Affleck, Gadot, and Fisher below:

Fans of the DCEU will, of course, notice that Cavill isn't present in the video, but that shouldn't come as too much of a surprise since the Superman actor hasn't always appeared with his fellow Justice League cast members at press events. Cavill did attend CinemaCon to present Justice League footage alongside director Zack Snyder, but wasn't able to appear at SDCC this summer, largely because he was in the middle of filming Mission: Impossible 6. Still, it's a well known fact that the Man of Steel will be returning for Justice League - and fans have been speculating for quite some time about whether Superman will don his black suit from the comics.

But, how Superman returns - and what suit he'll wear - remains to be seen, with fans likely needing to wait until Justice League hits theaters before getting a glimpse of Cavill again as the Last Son of Krypton. Thankfully, there's only a few months left until Warner Bros' next DCEU film debuts, and the studio is likely hoping for another hit along the lines of Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman. Prior to Diana Prince's solo outing, there was a great deal of negativity surrounding the DCEU, but with Wonder Woman performing well both with critics and at the box office, Warner Bros. is no doubt hoping to recreate that success with Justice League.
