According to Jurassic World 3 star Chris Pratt, the upcoming movie is a lot like Avengers: Endgame. Pratt is one of the lucky few actors in Hollywood to star in two major movie franchises: Jurassic World and the MCU. In the Jurassic World movies, Pratt plays Owen Grady, a dinosaur trainer and one of the films' leads. Jurassic World is the followup trilogy to the original Jurassic Park movies that began in the '90s. In the MCU, Pratt plays Peter Quill/Star-Lord, the focus of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. He also appeared as Star-Lord in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, making him one of the best people to compare Jurassic Park and the MCU.

The final two Avengers movies saw essentially everyone from the Infinity Saga come back, if only for a scene or two. Jurassic World 3, which will wrap up the Jurassic Park movies, at least for the time being, is taking a similar approach. Laura Dern will be back as Dr. Ellie Sattler, after last appearing in Jurassic Park III. Jeff Goldblum will also reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm, who already appeared in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Additionally, Sam Neill will return as Dr. Alan Grant, rounding out the original film's trio.

Considering the number of characters returning, it makes sense to compare Jurassic World 3 to Avengers: Endgame, as Pratt did recently during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Speaking about the Jurassic Park ending, Pratt said, "It’s got everybody. It’s got pretty much everybody in it. Maybe I just blew it, but I don’t care. All the cast from the original Jurassic Park is coming back. It’s going to feel very much like how Endgame brought everything together for Marvel.” He also called the upcoming movie "massive," another thing it will have in common with Avengers: Endgame. Check out the video of Pratt from The Ellen Show (via /Film) below:

In addition to featuring returning characters from the original Jurassic Park trilogy, the movie will also honor those who appeared solely in the Jurassic World movies, like Bryce Dallas Howard's Claire Dearing. Jake Johnson and Omar Sy's characters will also be back for Jurassic World 3. They play Lowery Cruthersand and Barry, respectively. This week has seen a flurry of casting announcements for new characters played by actors like Venom star Scott Haze and Altered Carbon's Dichen Lachman, both of whom have mystery roles. However, as Jurassic World 3 begins production soon, their parts may quickly be revealed.

Pratt's Avengers: Endgame comparison doesn't come as a surprise. This is especially true since he has so much experience in both the Jurassic World franchise and the MCU. With the number of characters returning for Jurassic World 3, it could very well end up being an Avengers: Endgame caliber movie. The majority of fans saw that film as a satisfying and emotional end to a long saga, and hopefully Jurassic World 3 follows suit.
