This project seems like a waste of Raimi’s talent. I was surprised to see him run back to his horror roots after he did such a great job with Spider-man.
I would seriously like to see Raimi take on something bigger perhaps something in the sci-fi genre.

Ellen Page is a decent actress but I sure don’t think that she’ll be a Oscar favorite for along time. (IMO) it was a lame year and she was lucky to get nominated at all.
She hosted SNL last night and while she did an ok job, it was clear to see she’s still got alot of improving to do.

I think Raimi may be a low-budget horror geek at heart and that’s why he wanted to do something like this after working on such a huge production.

We’ll working on even a low-budget film still takes alot of time and hardwork. I just wonder why? There’s got to be a reason.

The title of this film sounds soo tired. I don’t know just seems like 5 steps forward 10 steps back for Raimi.

I guess if you thought the Spider-Man series was a rousing success, it might be confusing…but horror is where he came from and horror is still what he does best. The first Spider-Man was decent, the second was bad, and the third was terrible - and I think most people would at least agree with me on #3. Blockbusters just aren’t his thing.

I’m sad to see Ellen go, but it was an odd bit of casting…so I can’t say I’m surprised.
