Thank God someone other than me has a brain that functions independent of the crowd mentality. 40-year Old Virgin was funny, but the rest of this guy’s stuff is crap. Overrated crap. And he’s made untalented people become leading men in Hollywood now because somehow, he has convinced a nation of movie-going idiots that what they see in his movies is funny, regardless of whether or not it is. I liked Napoleon Dynamite for what it was, but I’m afraid its opened the door for many more films that have no purpose but string together a few entertaining moments into a crappy film. Here’s hoping they die out soon, and Apatow becomes a name of the past within the next 5 years.
