I think that Wonderland could be a cult classic after all the book was a cult classic. On the other hand it is released the same time as Iron Man 2 and The A-Team, both are more hyped than Wonderland

Yeah Big Dentist, I also loved the score of “Ed Wood”, and yeah the film was perfect in every way.
Old Man, “Sleepy Hollow” real good too. Donny Brasco, I sure remember being a violent movie.

Siberia, one thing about Burtons films is they are well produced and filmed. Check out “Mars Attacks”!! Real good Burton film and Depp isn’t in it.

But yeah the combination of Depp/Burton is getting to be a running gag, however this Alice in Wonderland story is perfect for Depp, even if Burton wasn’t involved.

Agreed on Ed Wood, 790. Beautiful b&w photography, great performances. Burton manages unusual restraint and real affection for a man that Depp makes both ridiculous and moving. And Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi!

Love Donny Brasco, old man. OTT but actually totally convincing as Hunter S Thompson as well.

Burton/Alice/Depp/Hatter should be a match made in heaven, in theory.

The only thing Burton has done that was lasting for me was ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’. Everything else like Batman and Wonka just have never lived up and I have long-since given up the idea that Burton can deliver a full-movie. Only good looking moments.

I really didn’t like Ed Wood at all. I havn’t really enjoyed anything from Depp ever other then Cry Baby which was decently entertaining years ago. As far as Burton goes I only like NIghtmare before.

I’m a little surprised what with their love affair and all I would of thought Burton would be unable to resist putting Depp in as Alice.

I’m not a fan of either of these men Burton’s film all pretty much look the same and he never does anything that stands out from his previous work. The only thing he ever did that I liked was a cartoon and don’t get me started on Depp. For the life of me I still can’t figure out why these two have such a following. Honestly neither of them in my opinion have very man good films under their belt.

I’m a big fan of both Burton and Depp ; they’ve both had a few miss-fires but overall I think their respective talents compliment each other. I would very much like to see a Burton fueled AIW ; cool .
