The costume in “Ultimates” #9 is a waaaaaay better than that one up there and it’s a more realistic tactical uniform. It’s the one where he doesn’t wear a mask,has black sunglasses and a really short buzz cut.

Let’s hope for MARVEL’S sake it makes a tidy profit. Even so, I don’t equate a high box office turn over as a sign of a good classic movie.

If that was the case, the “Twilight” series of films must be cinematic masterpieces worthy of Oscar nominations.

Why can’t they simply make an Avengers movie starting with the ORIGINAL founding members and recruiting new members with the second and third film?

It’s all starting to look like an overcrowded cheesefest as far as I’m concerned.

An Avengers film should be a powerful grand dramatic epic with the sci-fi, action, story, and acting as realistic as it can get.

I would like to excercise the benefit of the doubt, but I can’t help but see this as as an overblown overcrowded extended TV episode by the extremely over rated and under experienced Joss Whedon.

He’ll definitely make a good Hawkeye no doubt. But don’t expect the costume to look anything like the comics, though… this is one case where I wouldn’t blame Marvel Studios for going with the Ultimate look a little more bit.

Good eye if true Phil but doesn’t he look like Renner? Nose, chin, and, even the eyes, are somewhat alike. Until someone does a shop job anyway, or they put him in costume…

@Robert I can agree with that to a degree but only becoming Giant-Man in order to be more of an asset for a certain situation. THE ANT-MAN MOVIE WILL BE ABOUT ANT-MAN. So if Ant-Man is to be in the Avengers, it should only be brief or just a flash back.

Jeremy Renner is an excellent choice. Watched “The Hurt Locker” and it was a fantastic movie, and he’ll definitely find it easy to step into Hawkeye’s shoes. He’s probably going to feel a bit typecast though.

Yes it does. Henry Pym was Ant-man when the Avengers were orginally formed, and later became Giant man.
