And on top of what you have already pointed out, Erica Durance if the hottest looking version of Lois Lane ever. Heck she's as hot as many of the comic book versions whcih are always drawn in a voluptious manner.

You mean the studios are 2 dimensional, one track minded, all-think-alikeasurases who cant do something different? Say it isnt so!

I personally feel that the contrast between batman's dark nature and superman's all-American goodness would contrast nicely, especially when it comes time for a justice league movie.

There’s been virtually nothing new developed by any Superman film since Superman 2, and other interesting characters have languished. So, I would love to see Supes put on the shelf for a while and other films developed.

You know who should direct the next Superman film? John Milius. Yes, he of Conan the Barbarian and Rome fame. He can do iconic imagery like nobody else. Superman is in a bit of a rut and Milius could really shake the dust off. The movie would be insane. But in a good way. Hopefully.

I would like to see a retooling as well, and agree that DARK has got to go. I would like to see some other villan than Lex Luthor though. That has been done to death in every movie. Superman has a plethora of other villans to contend with.

I love The Dark Knight and Noloan, so don’t get me wrong. But the mega-success of it has convinced WB that superheroes must now be DARK. That won’t work for Superman. In fact Superman Returns was plenty dark and depressing, with a broken up Lois and Clark, and a child being raised by another man. How’s that for dark? Even the movie’s color palate was dark, and with seemingly every scene shot at night. A big part of Superman Returns’ problem is that it WAS DARK, both figuratively and literally.

A Superman film should be closer in tone to Iron Man or Indiana Jones. It should have moments of humor, a tiny bit of romance, and some small successes along the way to the big fight. And most of the scenes should be shot during the daytime, with bright blue skies. IF there is a Lex Luthor, he should be either President of the US or an evil George Soros puppet-master.

it will end after season 10 that is the word like i said before my people know there shit so i trust them season 10 is the end with t leading to a movie in 2012. lex might be in it but only if they can michael back if that doesn’t happen expect to see 2 neew villans from the comics. none for this is set in stone but i would say it’ss a better then 50/50 chance.

I always felt GL could easily slap Supes around a bit…see, all he needs to do is learn the specific radioactive “signature” of Green Kryptonite and use his ring to duplicate it; anyone know if that was ever done in the comics?

DC and Warner’s have no idea what to do with Superman, and the answer is painfully simple. There is one person to blame and it is Chris Nolan.

His dark and ultimately too depressing Batman films have made so much money, that the bosses simply do not think the brightness and hope Superman represents will make them any money.

WTF is up with D.C./warner

Marvel is plowing foward in a clear cut direction, and doing a fantastic job lately

and D.C. s #1, its flagship, is sitting around with his thumb up his a##. What a joke
After the success of T.D.K. youd figure theyd be throwing everything they had into making adaptations.

There is absolutely no reason why they couldnt use the smallville cast to make a Superman movie, Tom Welling and Erica Durance are amazing as Clark and Lois, and with a decent sized budget, and a great story, it could make an excellent Superman movie.

The way the show has been going lately, it such a confident direction, ending it after season 9 and then going into movies seems like a logical step

Why is it that almost every DC character hits some kind of snag on the way to the big screen (or little screen for all that matters), and Marvel is able to crank them out as if they where having a fire sale?? WTF??
