    Superman definitely needs a reboot. Go a little darker and maybe the wachoski brothers can bring this franchise back to life.

    @ The Critic A darker superman is not a good idea. I'm saying they should do the exact same stories but they need to stay true to the essence of this character.
  • Vin
    ooops I meant they should NOT do the same stories but stay true to who superman is
  • The Critic
    DC should go dark with all their characters.
    A Superman similiar to batman begins and TDK would be sweet!
  • INK
    But SUperman is not a dark character.

    All Superman needs, that he hasn't had – except Superman II, is a decent villain, see Brainiac, to fight instead of ALWAYS going up against Luthor.

    Superman IS NOT Batman.

    I never said superman is batman. And the character doesn't have to be dark but the story can be. There is a difference.
  • INK
    I see what you mean, but I still disagree.

    I am one among many who admire James McTeigue's work. I also believe that he will do a way better job on the remake of Superman:D hopefully it aint as cheesy as the others were.

    @ The Critic
    I have to agree with the 'INK' superman isn't a dark person he is actually the GOODY GOOD hero that has a code and a iron will to follow it and he feeds of the admiration that the people give him. I don't think he could handle the misjudgement if he were a dark person that everyone hated.

    @likeitmuch
    I never said anything about a dark character. I'm talking about the movie. I want a movie like Superman 2 where the villian frightened america and the rest of the world because he was out for blood. I don't want a movie where I'm laughing at lex luthor. I want a serious villian. Imagine superman 2 with updated effects and todays technology. Now that would be badass! Superman returns was kind of corny IMO.
