I would like to see him do a movie concerning the Nostradamus legacy. Like about a modern day Nostradamus descendant who explains the prophecies, offers further revelations, and tries to finish what his ancestor started.

Avatar was and is the single best film i have ever seen in my life. I can only hope that there will be a sequel, (i would probably die if i found out there isn’t going to be one) and hope that it will come close to if not (dare i say it) surpass its predecessor. James Cameron is now my personal hero

While Im already hearing alot of awesome things about Avatar,its being considered by many a “training ground” for a more complex movie.Alot of what I have read(and seen within the trailer)shows that Avatar is a visually stunning movie.However the complexity of the storyline seems a bit cliche,which is unlike so much of Cameron’s work.I personally believe Avatar is being used to use and so what perfect the usuage of the new technology for Battle Angel Alita.The Storyline sounds amazing and the characters sound as if it could be a real knockout.Even more so than Avatar…

@INK. Arnie can’t run for re election next year, his term is over. He won’t be back,,, (unless were under marshall law by that point, then True Lies is prob gonna be on hold…)

I think a lot of the budget went into developing the tech for the movie. But now that’s it’s all developed, the sequels would have a much lower budget. Almost everything about the way they filmed and shot this movie was basically invented for this movie, so there was quite a bit of money going into that…

I used to live in Saudi Arabia and I tried three times to get a copy of that movie into Saudi because it was one of my favorites. Everytime we went through Saudi customs they would do a big search and seizure of all Westerners bags and confiscate anything they deemed questionable..True Lies was on their hit list so they took two of the copies we tried to get in and then one of our friends who worked for the Saudi government told us to put it under my wife’s unmentionables and it would get through and SURE ENOUGH it worked..as soon as he opened her suitcase and saw her underwear he closed it right up and waved her through(it was almost like he caught a glimpse of the Medusa or something..that guy turned his back to that suitcase so fast and just waved her through..it was funny!!)..True story..The second copy of the movie that was taken by Saudi customs the guy who confiscated it said it was a great movie but I wasn’t allowed to have it because it was on their black list…I asked him what they do with the movies and he said the customs officers keep them for themselves…AAARRRGHHHH!!!

I certainly think there is a script for True Lies 2, but I doubt Cameron will be involved. But it will only be worth doing if the entire cast come back, which is possible.

I would love to see a second True Lies. Original cast and all.

As for Avatar 2 & 3…
Isn’t this the most expensive film ever made? I wonder how they imagine they’ll recoup on this film and then make two more that top the original. If we didn’t have such a large national defecit, maybe we’d have enough money to spend on Cameron’s films, but i don’t see them happening any time soon based purely on numbers.

Then again, I’ve been wrong before. I thought Hard Target deserved an Academy Award.

True Lies is one of my favorite movies. It has something for everyone, is so easily re-watchable and wildly entertaining.
