I think if a film is intentionally trying to be campy, if they acknowledge that instead of trying to make the movie something that it is not, a little camp can be a good thing.

And there is nothing wrong with anybody who says that.

I understand that everyone has their own opinion, but I really don’t even see how W being bad is up for debate. It was a shining example of bad film. It was what all films should strive to not be. I also wasn’t at all impressed with Brolin in the film. While he wasn’t completely awful there was nothing great about his performance.

I’m glad Nelvedine and Taylor left. Nothing against the duo, but I would like to see Jonah Hex the way I liked the character… without the supernatural junk that re-invented the character which I never warmed up to, and felt the extreme opposite when that version was “accepted” by comics fans. ugh.

I trust Brolin to make the right choice. But this doesn’t exactly shock me. When it was announced that Hayward would direct, I called it being Brolin’s choice.

They need to let him do whatever he wants with the film. It’ll be better off for it.

Here’s hoping the film lives up to their faith in the material and each other to bring it to life.

All I know of Hex is what little I saw from the Batman Animated series, and I remember really digging the character from that (from what little the series did with him), so this may be one to keep on my radar.

I find my self worried about this film Josh seems to be running 50 / 50 sometimes he is good some time well not so good. The director seems like a joke. I thought it was first time I heard.
