Iron Man 3 Posters Broken Helmet Iron Man 3: Gwyneth Paltrow Poster & Empire Cover Feature Busted Helmets

Teasing the one-minute extended (read: extensive) Iron Man 3 Super Bowl commercial, Marvel Studios released a super cool one-sheet featuring the titular hero sporting a battle-damaged Mark XLVIII armor, falling from the sky. Since then, Don Cheadle got his own Iron Patriot poster, Guy Pearce – who describes his role as a cameo - got one for his character Aldrich Killian, and most recently, Ben Kingsley caught our attention posing as the villainous, yet suave and stylish Mandarin.

Now it’s time for Stark’s most trusted partner from the trilogy to step into the spotlight.

Gwyneth Paltrow plays Stark’s main love interest and CEO of Stark Industries, Pepper Potts, and while the jury is still out on whether or not the Oscar-winning actress will get a chance to wear her own set of armor on screen, she at least has a new Iron Man 3 poster all to herself. The image pays homage to the scene from the trailers where Pepper holds a broken Iron Man helmet after the attack on Stark’s mansion.

The second new image/poster is the cover for the latest issue of Empire Magazine and features Stark, in his shiny new duds, seemingly posing for GQ. What a clean face for such dirtied and worn armor. Click to see full version:

  1. this is my most anticipated movie of the year! (surprise, surprise)
at this point I usually stop watching trailers, teasers and TV spots.. but I can’t help myself with this one.. I hope the new trailer doesn’t spoil too much but show enough exciting glimpses :)

  2. Looking forward to the new trailer but these character posters aren’t really doing anything for me. Overproduced and too generic for my liking.

    • The Potts/Killian ones are boring, but the Mandarin/Iron Patriot/Stark crashing ones looked very cool to me.

      • I felt the whole Mandarin wearing sunglasses thing was a bit corny but stylish and exciting. Hoping that he will have some kind of snappy funny one liner. Just like In the Avengers where everyone had their own

        • I got the feeling of Mandarin mocking Tony with his glasses in his poster, especially when you see the full version with him stepping on Iron Man’s mask

  3. I’m a person who doesn’t get bothered by spoilers so knowing that Iron Man is gonna have a f**cking army with War Machine by his side is gonna be legend(wait for it)DARY!!!!!!!

  4. Awesome

  5. EXCELSIOR! :)

  6. Now I really want to see Coldblood and Firepower posters. I’m very curious with their appearance. May just can’t come fast enough…

    • Same here, I am curious as well. curious about that new trailer too

  7. I really hope they finally go ahead and kill Pepper off. Not only will we see the raging alcoholic Tony again, but we wont have to see Gweneth Paltro anymore. Not that it really matters, but she is so damn annoying.

    • Spoken like a true sexist who can’t accept that the Tony/Pepper relationship is the emotional heart of the Iron Man films.

      • You got me. I am a sexist because I can’t stand Gweneth Paltrow. I’ve got to run and make sure my wife is doing her chores before she makes me dinner.

I really love the intelligent individuals who raise the level of conversation by saying someone is sexist, racist, or a bigot for the most ridiculous reasons. I mean, it’s not like we are talking politics or I made some comment like “all women should stay in the kitchen where they belong.” I pointed out a horrible actress who could very easily be improved upon by someone like an Amy Adams or another lovable Ginger. Wait, that’s racist against Gingers. My true colors showing again. I’m a bad person.

  8. The marketing campaign for IM3 is really playing up the dramatics of this new film. Im getting a strong feeling that this may be the final chapter of Iron Man, ending the trilogy. Im sure we’ll probably still see Iron Man in The Guardians Of The Galaxy movie and more likely in The Avengers 2 though.

  9. “Sigh” Busted helmet,so he can remove it/just to show an actor’s face over and over again, when will this end. We all know it’s RDJ under there.

  10. Stark gets his arse kicked, he turns to extremis to regain the advantage, yes we know… release the thing already.

  11. Actually his face would be clean as the helmet would have prevented it from getting dirty. I don’t really know what happens to someone’s face inside a helmet of an armour suit. :(
