First Image From The Set Of Iron Man 2

Mar 10, 2009 by

Here’s the first pic from the set of Iron Man 2. It’s a picture of Tony Stark’s new ritzy abode, still under construction. In the picture is director Jon Favreau and cinematographer Matthew Libatique.

So despite all the ups and downs surrounding the sequel to the super-successful previous film, production is indeed under way.

Check out the pic below.

  1. Too soon!!! Hope they do this right!!! The proposed villians in the film have me extremely lukewarm. Should have been a Tony Leung or Andy Lau Manderin

  2. MY life stinks. Movie sets are nicer than my apartment. LOL.

I trust Favs to do this right. Good to see that the ball is rolling.

  3. Any theories on where it might be ?
The intended Location for that set I mean.

  4. I meant geographical Location.
    I know its Tonys place.
I always try to get every scrap of plot details that I can .

  5. I don’t know where it’s supposed to be, but I would imagine the California coast, like in the first film.

  6. They’re still scouting locations, building sets, etc. I’ve been following Favs on Twitter and he says they start production in april.

What I wouldn’t give to work on that film!

Btw, I was worried Libatique wouldn’t be returning, but there he is! AWESOME! He’s one of my favorites.
