    haha nice catch.
  • As ridiculous as it may seem, going by the artwork at the top, I wouldnt mind seeing FFF turn up in Iron Man 3. There might be someway to work it in.

cool design(s).. Granov is such a great artist..

The art work for Foom looks great to me. But what I really like and appreciate is the fact the people making the movie acknowledgment of the fans. I'm not even that much of a Iron Man fan as far as the comics goes. But it's definitely the little things like easter eggs or little nods that goes a long way when comes to the fan base.

FING FANG FOOM AND MANDARIN IN IRON MAN THREE FOR THE WIN!!!!
  • Ulik
As far as dragons being real. The idea had to come from somewhere, the human mind can only create from references. A dragon that flies and breathes fire is kind of still of far stretch from a simple lizard. Somebody saw something somewhere that most of us haven't seen, let alone the depiction of dragons in almost every culture.

this looks fantastic not even compared with the original (ugly) FFF i love this concept its crazy
  • Ulik
FOOOM!!! is a living conscious being in the comics and also has the ability to talk. It may a be a stretch but if he ends up in Iron Man 3, I don't want him to be like a mindless robot, he needs to be a conscious sentient being from the start. Ultron on the other hand becomes sentient and is not a living being although Ultron would destroy me if he heard me say that.

i dig the artwork . i wonder if this version of Fing Fang Foom will appear anywhere else, be it Comics ?? or the IM2 Video Game ??
i dont know, a fanboy can dream cant he?
  • Ulik
FOOOM!!! could easily work as a techno-organic creature that is being controlled by the Mandarin with the Ten Rings. The Ten Rings being of alien technology makes sense especially in this day in time where we are finding all sorts of evidence of extraterrestrial technology being an influence on the world past, present and more than likely, the future. Not many people know that there are actually pyramids in China too. Maybe they can build on some aspects of that and have it have something to do with the Ten Rings and...FOOOM!!!

well done sir. i like it.

I concur that you can't have a giant dragon running around the Iron Man universe but apparently it's OK to intermingle Norse Gods into it. I'm very apprehensive about how they will work in the Thor story arc.
  • Ulik
Norse gods in a science and tech based movie isn't a long stretch when you think of parallel universe, alternate dimensions, and sub-atomic exploration. Although pseudo-sciences, researchers are getting closer everyday to proving that there other dimensions of existence. When you research many cultures and religions of Africa,Asia, the Americas and some parts of Europe(Especially Scandinavia & Celtic areas) through practice of Runes and shamanism, people have been in communication with beings of other dimensions for thousands of years. Call them demons if your a religious fanatic if you will but many of these beings are benevolent and are apart of and sometimes inseparable form the people themselves. Many of these beings are "protectors of the land and its people". Yoruba(and its branches)of Nigeria is one of the greatest examples of systematic numerology and shamanism that science is measuring out and its definite influence on human life and events. Its easy to bring these issues into a movie about Thor and Asgard. Especially with places like Stonehenge and the speculation that it was once a "Stargate" to other dimensions. Some people still practice RUNES and say they communicate with the gods such as Odin. Whether it's real or can be proven is just as speculative as an actual IRON MAN in the real world. I personally have seen some phenomenal things with my own eyes in the realm of Santeria and Yoruba, so I personally know it is real.

    Hey Ulik and well anyone else interested check this link;

  • Ulik
@ the old man, WOW!!! thanks for showing us that. It's incredible!! String Theory is an amazing concept although still a theory, simple evidences of life here on earth in nature already show the answers. Sometimes the answers are so simple that they become complicated or hard to explain. For example, reflection is one of first simple keys to revelations in dimensions. "As above, so below" everything out there is here to in some way. The incredible thing is particle exploration! When we study sub-atomic particles they become smaller and smaller until you're eventually on the opposite side from where you started. The other side is another dimension!!! Like he said, dimensions are apart of nature and they reflect themselves in so many ways in nature. We're very close my friends to discovery of other dimensions through science. Although I conclude that the "friends of nature" such as the shamans of the Americas and Africa have already done it thousands of years ago. This science could easily be adapted for Thor and Asgard.
  • Ulik: Thanks for this train of thought - this is really fascinating. I love this kind of stuff.

Old Man: Thanks for the link!

    Your welcome...

    Smartass,

This article by our own Rob Keyes explains a possible scenario for that!

I think the design looks awesome! I still don't think he will actually appear in the movie besides on the billboard but who knows.
  • ZipperStevens
I think FFF should have been real, big, and green and appeared in the Thor movie. That would have been a good fit.

and why does everything Adi Granov draw look so brush metal and polished? FFF looks like something Apple would make.
