New International Trailer For ‘The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button’

benjamin button New International Trailer For The Curious Case Of Benjamin ButtonHere we have the new international trailer for the The Curious Case of Benjamin Button – it’s not much different than the first trailer if you saw that in theaters, but it does include some new footage.

We haven’t really covered this movie yet here on Screen Rant other than in my recent post on new movie posters, and there are a lot of folks that don’t know much about it. In that post are the two brand new posters for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button; one featuring Brad Pitt and the other, Cate Blanchett.

Although I don’t expect sky-high box office results from this flick and I can’t see it hitting the younger teenager demographic, I have high hopes for it. The trailers show off a very high quality heartfelt film that will no doubt be a big player in next year’s Academy Awards – and I look forward to seeing it over the holidays.

Watch and see what you think:

The film is directed by David Fincher and is adapted from a 1922 short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald. You probably figured out the plot from the trailer so I won’t explain it. If you’ve seen the posters before seeing any trailers, the reversed text on Brad Pitt’s probably makes more sense now.

What do you think of trailer? Are you interested in this film?

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button opens this Christmas Day, December 25th 2008.

  1. man this movie’s concept is really cool…
i actually think i will go out and see it and i did not know of this picture untill today….

  2. This could certainly be a sleeper. When I first saw the trailer looking at the snapshot credits I saw that the original author is Francis Scott Key. Wow!! This definitely has Oscar nomintations written all over it. Hopefully Brad will finally get his chance at one. Not only is he nice to look at he REAL can act…which is a definite bonus.

  3. I saw this trailer in the theaters and I am quite interested about this movie. dont know how well it will do in the box office but I will prob go see it.

  4. did i see Tilda Swinton as well?

  5. I don’t know how, but I found myself at home the other day waiting to take my wife to work, and – low and behold – there sat a steadily-getting-larger Oprah Winfrey. There in the chair next to her was Brad Pitt, talking about this new movie, and folks – I’m interested.

The premise of the movie looks great and I a giant fan of everyone that’s going to be in this movie. Sign me up for an afternoon matinee for sure.

  6. I really like the look of this… it’s got a kind of Big Fish vibe about it.

  7. I’ll probably go see this movie. Saw the trailer last night during “24″ and it looked interesting. Looks like it might actually have depth, plot and good acting. Something lacking in a lot of new movies.
