    2. Prisoners
    3. The family
    4. Riddick
    5. The butler
    10. Elysium

  4. WB should use these Harry Potter spinoffs to introduce Captain Marvel/Shazam into the DC Cinematic Universe. Dumbledore turns out to be the secret leader of wizards of the Rock of Eternity and recruits Billy Batson to fight Voldemort.

  5. 1 insidious 2
    2 prisoners
    3 the family
    4 riddick
    5 the butler
    10 Elysium

  6. I happened to be thinking about why they dont make harry potter spin off movies the week before the movie was announced so I was glad to here it and these are my ideas-

    1. The Hallowed Brothers-story follows the lives of the three brothers who are granted the mystical hallows after a run in with Death himself and how it changes them forever.

    2. Hogwarts Forged:- The dramatic founding of the great school of witchcraft and wizardry is seen when four wizards of different backgrounds come together with the common goal to unite and educate the wizarding world and the eventual fallout of Slytherin.

    3. Quidditch World Cup- Follows the story of a rookie team of talented up and coming players assembled by a worn but ready to prove himself coach and their journey into the pro leagues of quidditch. With egos, tempers and differences flaring, can the team work together and pull through to win the prestige of the world cup.

    4. Voldemort: Dark Ascension- The story of young orphan Tom Riddles introduction into the world of magic and Hogwarts and his transformation into one of the darkest wizards in history, his rise to power and first reign during the wizarding war and eventual downfall.

    5. Fantastic Beasts: And Where to Find Them- Follow Newton Artemis Fido “Newt” Scamander on his inspiring, yet dangerous journey across the wizarding world and discovery of fantastical creatures and locations of the wizarding world as he seeks to catalogue them for all to see, including the most ferocious of all and understand them.

    Tv Shows

Aurors- Crime drama with magic, follows a partnership of two aurors, a rookie and senior and their carrying out justice.

Hogwarts: Witchcraft and Wizardry- school drama following new class.

  7. The second act of Peter Jackson’s King Kong remake was already another Jurassic Park movie ;)

  8. I’m fan of the idea of the Breaking Bad spin-off. I remember an episode (maybe more?) where Saul got a phone call and opened a drawer full of cell phones. I wondered what the story was behind each of those phones. Perhaps the show will have a rotating cast of criminals from episode to episode and Saul will be the only constant…with a few of the criminals having reoccurring roles throughout the season. Plus, I like the idea of a courtroom drama without the courtroom, that sounds unique.

Also, did anyone else see David Cross and Bob Odenkirk on the Daily Show last week? I was as giddy as a little girl at a My Little Pony convention.

  9. Anthony is the coolest guy on the podcast. What you say in the podcast is hilarious. Big fan of the podcast. Keep it going, guys.

Also, The Lost World was a terrible follow up to the near perfection that is Jurassic Park. The writing for Jeff Goldblum’s character was terrible and also for his ex-girlfriend and his adopted daughter.

I’m not sure if J.K. Rowling writing the screenplay for the spin-off movie is such a good idea.

Jurassic World is going to tank. I’m a big fan of the first movie and was first in line when Jurassic Park 3D reached my theater in Puerto Rico and really enjoyed it, once again. But I feel like the 3D is the only thing they got going for them. It’s the only thing that’s got me waiting for its release. Not the story (which we don’t know anything about) but dinosaurs in 3D coming off the screen.

    • I love that guy!

      • Don’t get me wrong, Rob, all of you are awesome. Although I still can’t get over the fact that Ben gave Prometheus a 4.5 out of 5 rating. Ha ha.

  10. I want a smaller Jurassic Park. The idea of a fully running Jurassic Park for the World to see and then going haywire really sounds like the best bet to me.

They already have an American Potter movie. It’s called “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”. ;)

Now You See Me is terrible. The trailer looked so good but the movie itself is a mere shadow of the idea. Eisenberg, Harrelson and Co. are nothing but side characters, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman are completely wasted, the explanations to some of the tricks are nothing short of ridiculous and the ending is a joke. The sequel should be a reboot that actually delivers on the promises that the trailer made. Same cast and everything.

A Saul Goodman show could be really cool. Whenever Walt was in his office there were some quirky looking people sitting in Saul’s waiting room. There could be a fun case-of-the-week show about these people in there somewhere.

And now I’m off listening to the Green Lantern podcast. :D

    • I agree with the Now You See Me. I was highly anticipating that movie and when I saw it, I was really disappointed. No character development. The characters you mentioned were a waste. The twist did nothing for the story except raise more questions. The chemistry between the actors is horrible. What the hell is The Eye? What do they do? Why is it so important for magicians to be part of it? What the hell is it?

      • I just recently got around to seeing it and am totally with you guys. What a waste. And the mid-credits scene that is a complete dud? The worst movie I’ve seen in a while.

  11. I really think the James Franco Roast was the best I’ve seen

  12. #1 Insidious Chapter 2
    #2 Prisoners
    #3 The Family
    #4 Riddick
    #5 Battle of the Year
#10 One Direction: This is Us

  13. 1 – Prisoners
    2 – Insidious Chapter 2
    3 – The Family
4 – Battler of The Year
    5 – We’re The Millers
    10 – Planes

  14. 1. Prisoners
    2. Insidious: Chapter 2
    3. The Family
    4. Battle of the Year
    5. Riddick

    10. One Direction: This Is Us

  15. Ugh, I was seriously planning on watching the first Insidious on Netflix… like tonight. I can’t believe they removed it. Thanks for the heads up, at least.

But I really enjoyed Insidious 2 as a supernatural mystery movie. It had a lot of neat elements you don’t see in your usual horror movie that I thought worked great. And I’m laughing at what Kofi was saying about the shirtless bald ghost because my brother and I have been saying the “I got your baby” line to each other for the past few weeks as a little running joke. It’s just fun to quote.

  16. 1. Prisoners
    2. Insidious 2
    3. The family
    4. The Butler
    5. Riddick
    10. Elysium

  17. First Arrow, then Hannibal, now the BB sequel, give things a chance Ben.
