ABC debuted the first promo for next week's episode of Inhumans titled Make Way For... Medusa. It has not been easy for  Inhumans to get their introduction in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Once promised as a new franchise on the big screen, Inhumans moved to ABC (but still was shown in theaters thanks to IMAX) and the results have not been what anyone was hoping for.

Even though the show has only aired on ABC for two consecutive weeks, the eight-episode season length makes next week the halfway point. To this point, the Royal Family members are all on Earth searching for one another, while Maximus continues to try and take control of Attilan and all Inhumans. Based on the promo for next week's episode, it will contain more of the same.

The hype trailer—published by TV Promos—aired immediately after last night's new episode. Despite promoting the episode as brother vs brother, it still does not appear as though Black Bolt (Anson Mount) and Maximus (Iwan Rheon) will clash.

The promo for episode four expands on what was teased in the promotional stills for this episode. As shown in those photos, Medusa (Serinda Swan) will continue her new partnership with Louise (Ellen Woglom). For a relationship that just began, it will not take long before they are tested, as the promo shows them involved in a high-speed chase with local authorities.

With the promo focusing on the Royal Family's brothers, however, viewers will undoubtedly have to wait a few more episodes to see this conflict resolved. Instead, Black Bolt works with Dr. Evan Declan (Henry Ian Cusick). What Declan has to gain from him working with Black Bolt is unclear, but the trailer shows Attilan's rightful king standing across from Auran (Sonya Balmores) and just avoiding some deadly explosions. Maximus, on the other hand, looks like he will continue to stay in Attilan and let Auran and her band of Inhumans do his bidding.

As for the rest of the Royal Family, Crystal (Isabelle Cornish) is shown protecting Lockjaw following the injury he sustained at the end of episode three. While Gorgon (Eme Ikwuakor) will continue to hang with his surfer buddies.  There is no sign of Karnak (Ken Leung) this time, and there is still no word on what Triton's (Mike Moh) status is. With the season almost at the halfway point, hopefully, the show will start to pick some steam in the coming weeks.

Inhumans season one continues Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, with Make Way For... Medusa at 9 p.m. on ABC.
