I’m looking forward to this as well Kofi. I haven’t like everything QT has done (Jackie Brown) but I have seen everything he has done. I like Deathproof but only the last 30 minutes or so. The rest of it bored me.

Kirk Honeycutt…was he going on a safari or hunting or fishing? What was with that outfit? He kept looking off camera as he made his remarks, like he was telling them in secret and kept checking to see if anyone was coming. This guy is suppose to be a professional and that video he made was utter crap. He is the exact reason why I think old people shouldn’t review movies for young people.

He’s been in the business too long and now thinks he is above the people actually involved in the process of making the film. The dude is in FRACKIN’ CANNES!!! I’d give my brohter’s left nut to be there right now (or Comic Con in July hint hint Vic ) Respect were you are at man and act excited to be there!

I am a huge fan of QT’s screenplays (I love From Dusk Till Dawn) but it just did not work in Deathproof for me. But to each his own. Planet Terror is one of the best horror movies in recent years…pure entertainment.

I was one of the people who really liked Death Proof over Planet Terror. I really like Quentin’s dialogue in his movies, its what makes them able for me to watch over and over again. I just saw the last clip and I think this movie is gonna be great! Yay Brad Pitt!

Pitt’s Dialogue in the third clip was a little dry. I’d like to see more action sequences like in the first trailer.

Oh, and Kofi, what did you think about Mr. Honeycutt? I thought I remembered him being almost spot-on.

I love QT’s dialogue too but Deathproof took that dialogue and applied it to women’s issues (empowering women, etc.) and that took me completely out of the movie. And Kurt Russel (aka snake plissken) can’t beat up a few chicks? Cmon.

There were strokes of brilliance in that movie however. Kurt was cast perfectly and looked badass.

I know this has nothing to do with the subject at hand but thought I’d put in my $.02
