I think that if Tarantino can recapture the magic he had on films like Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction he will have a hit on his hands. I was starting to get tired of all his homages to the type of films he loved growing up with Kill Bill and Grindhouse and Jackie Brown was an ok film…Some of the names that were attached to this in the past were Arnold, Sly, and Bruce could have all been featured in this movie and I think if I am not mistaken that Clint Eastwood was attached at one point for a small cameo too…Geez..it will be interesting to see who commits to act in this think but war movies have not done well lately..War films of any kind…Maybe TWC are a little worried to try this on their own considering the flop that was Grindhouse/Planet Terror…I find it interesting that Robert Rodriguez is having trouble getting financing for the Barbarella remake and now this..Have these guys burnt some bridges in Hollywood recently?

I’m a big QT fan. Excluding Grindhouse (p.o.s.) and Jackie Brown(dulldulldull) I have loved his movies. When it works , his movies are a lot of fun. I am ready for another fun QT flick. Bring it on :)

Personally I quite like Jackie Brown. Thought it was a better made movie than others he has done.

As for a Dirty Dozen remake or homage or whatever, not keen myself. I love the original.
However, if I could influence it at all, what I’d want to see isn’t big names, but a line up of all those actors us movie nuts know and love for being bad.
Give me a line up of Michael Ironside, Clancy Brown, Ron Perlman, Brad Dourif, Keith David, hey, and even David Keith!
Them and a number of others would make me want to watch.
