Tim Roth has been cast to play the human version of the villain not-to-be-named the Abomination in the upcoming reboot: The Incredible Hulk.
Roth’s character will be called Emil Blonsky, a Russian scientist who craves the Hulk’s power and purposely subjects himself to a higher doese of the gamma radiation that accidentaly turned Bruce Banner into his mean, green alter ego. Roth certainly has a cool villain look about him, but despite the fact that he looks amazingly familiar, I was looking over his film history at IMDB, and although the guy has done a ton of movies I couldn’t find one that I remembered him from until it finally dawned on me why I recognized him: The movie that put Quentin Tarantino on the map… Reservoir Dogs.
The Incredible Hulk opens on June 13, 2008.

I,being a Hulk comic expert think Abominition is
a good villain choice for the first film. And I
also like the fact that the Hulk won’t be any
bigger than 9 feet,it was pretty ridiculous in
Hulk how he could grow up to like 20 ft. I hope
the origin is like the nice and simple one from
the comix.I hope Rick Jones is in it and is like
the clean cut version from the Stan Lee & Jack
Kirby comix.
Kel,
Man, I kind of hope that they gloss over the origin and just get on with the story. Hopefully this reboot will turn out to be less of a Shakespearean drama than the Ang Lee’s version.
Vic
