A good cast makes a good movie not.

I see your point, KEL. There are no villains that could really be classified as "decent". In the Hulk story line, what?, 50% or MORE of all his enemies are gamma-radiation mutants.

Hulks powers are emotionally based. So lets do a little Joss Whedon cross-over and get someone with a canister of PAX-13, and he'll be hosed. Bruce Banner is as much as a scientific hero as the Hulk is...., well, green.

I'd like to think there is more to a hero than smash, crush, burn, maim, rape, pillage, kill first and ask questions later. Fighting a situation, to me, is often more satisfying than just seeing an all out grudge match filled with wanton destruction and mayhem.

Alcadyzaar,
who do you think would be a better villain in the
new Hulk movie? The Leader and his scrotum head?
The Gargoyle and his also oversized head? The Absorbing Man,made infamous by Nick Nolte? Please, tell
me,who do you think would be a better villain for
a new Hulk film? This movie sounds more grounded
in the comics than the 2003 release, and it has a
good cast,I don't see what your problem is with it.

Well, it beats the first movie's Godzilla-like confrontation of monster vs army. :-)

I'm not a big Hulk fan, either but the character does lend itself to a big angst-filled story, which is not always the best for a superhero flick.

Maybe its just me, but Hulk is kinda... blah. And Hulk vs. the Abomination. Come on. Don't get me wrong. Stan's idea of the Hulk as a superhero is awesome. But Hulk vs. The Abomination sounds like "Fat Man" vs "Little Boy".
Look it up if you don't get the refernece.

I hope they make it better than the first. But with this story line I can't see them adding much more than a twisted love/loss story with Emil and his wife, then him trying to kill off Ms. Ross.

Most comic-based movies I'd say I can't wait for, but this one I think I can. After the last, I think alot of people have a bad green taste in their mouths.

I'm sure they'll touch on the origin at least briefly.

That sounds pretty good,as long as it can be
viewed apart from that incredible tradegy Hulk
film. Still....I really wouldn't mind if they
went over the origin briefly and it was as it was
in the comics.
