I was a little disappointed the movie did not preformed better at the box office because it was definitely the top 3 best flick of the summer along with Iron Man and The Dark Knight. Hopefully the DVD does very well to warrant another Hulk SMASH movie…

Ditto, 790 and MK. I think the snooze-fest that was “The Hulk” a few years ago hurt this incarnation. This film was definately much better and I loved the Hulk action. I may wait for the Noton version, and rent this version.

Edward Norton was good as Bruce. (Eric Bana turned down) :)

Rob,

Please add something relevant and significant to the conversation. People subscribed to comments and it’s a pain getting comment replies in one’s inbox with nothing but a smiley or some 2 or 3 word comment.

I was curious,
In terms of Box office
Did It fare better then the Ang Lee version or was it about the same?

Gary,,,
I read today in Variety, that Hulk was tied with Wanted at 137.mil. (overall Domestic.)

((I don’t know what Ang Lee’s version made, but it sucked in comparison visually !!!))

Iron Man beat out Indy4! by like 1.mil, and of course TDK beat Iron Man, by like double. Lol

What a great summer movie season!!!!!

@Gary

Actually it’s quite the coincidence, both versions of the Hulk have made almost exactly the same amount of money at the box office, with the latest version slightly ahead.

Check the home page, I just put up a Top Summer Movies post. :-)

For all the box office grosses (both domestic and overseas), check out Box Office Mojo website (http://www.boxofficemojo.com/), it’s a very resourceful site for all movies box office info.

off topic? i conjectured that “mr. blue” could turn out to be The Leader, after seeing his head morph. But there’s another mr. mutato head in The Hulk’s life, and that’s MODOK*. I suppose the origin would be different for either baddie.
