Heck, I’d say let him direct it, that was pretty authentic looking.

David says:

Wow. Very nice indeed. I’d say let the guy have a go at it..

Will says:

i really liked it, and with hollywood special effects it would be pretty much perfect. Freddy walking around on fire as well was super cool. That trailer freaked me out a bit. well done!

INK says:

Well Done, Christopher.

Good luck and if I had a vote … you’d get it.

Steven W, says:

The Desolate One says:

MAD skillz. Had great new “heat” effects; particularly liked Freddy with the “cinder block” glow, as well as his knife / fingers with the hot metal glow. This guy gets my vote all the way to direct and / or play Freddy.

David says:

Freddy walking around on fire for one scene would be okay but not for the whole film. He isn’t Ghost Rider here. And while that fan-made trailer looked good visually, the “writing” left a lot to be desired.

As for Christopher Johnson as Freddy, I don’t think so. I’m still getting used to the idea that Jackie Earle Haley is replacing Robert Englund but at least Haley is said to be a good, if not great, actor. What has Johnson done to earn the role besides a trailer that looks good?

Alex says:

Ohhhhh David….Shut up. u are the only person on here talking rubbish. that trailer was amazing for a fan. would like to see you put a trailer like that. one thing i do agree with u tho is freddy shouldnt be on fire throughout the whole movie.
